摘要： Mobile vehicles and the like having enclosed cabs such as tractors, combines and the like, are provided with air inlet means for the comfort of the operator. The air inlet means are provided with a readily removable filter element and means to support the same by an overhanging forward portion of the roof which extends beyond the windshield of the cab. The filter element is supported by a frame and includes means to raise and lower the frame respectively to support the filter element in upper, operative position and lower, removable position, insertion and removal of the same occurring through an opening adjacent one side edge of the roof of the cab and normally closed by a door, the entire removal occurring exteriorly of the interior of the cab.

摘要： A walk-behind turf aerating apparatus includes two pairs of tine arm assemblies, each assembly having a pair of vertically reciprocating tine arms for driving coring tines into the turf. A tine arm return mechanism includes a gear box for each pair of tine arms, the lower ends of the tine arms being connected to cranks extending from the gear box to reposition the tine arms prior to ground engagement. Stops are provided to limit the tine arm travel. A spring-loaded lifting mechanism permits manual shifting of the tine arm mechanism from a lowered ground-engaging position to a raised transport position. A belt drive with clutch and reduction drive for the wheels also drives the tine arm mechanism with automatic disengagement when the wheels are in the transport position. A handle assembly is connected to the apparatus frame through a pivotal connection including vibration damping elements for minimizing transmittal of vibrations, particularly in the vertical plane, to the handle.

摘要： A removable cover for attachment to a structure such as a housing. In one embodiment, the cover extends over a mechanical drive system of an implement. The exemplary cover may be used to shield a driven pulley and at least a portion of an associated belt of a lawn mower cutting deck when the cover is attached to the deck. The cover may, at one end, include one or more portions configured to engage the housing. At a second end, the cover may include a resilient lip that, at least in one embodiment, is defined by an opening formed in the cover. The lip may selectively interlock with an anchor attached to the housing to secure the cover relative to the deck.

摘要： In a crop harvesting and threshing machine of the type utilizing at least one axial flow threshing and separating rotor within a generally cylindrical elongate rotor casing there is provided an annular member fastened to a support member surrounding the front portion of the threshing rotor, a guide member fastened to the support member and contiguous with the annular member projecting linearly outwardly therefrom, a ramp section sloping rearwardly and outwardly affixed to the support member adjacent the guide member to direct the crop material from the guide member generally outwardly and upwardly towards the rear of the rotor casing into contact with a transport fin affixed to the top of the casing in an oblique angular relation therewith, thereby promoting the further rearward movement of crop material as it is transported axially about the threshing rotor.
