Abstract: A method of a device supporting augmented reality (AR) or virtual reality (VR), includes: detecting an occurrence of at least one sensory discomfort to a user when the user uses the device supporting the AR or the VR; determining a source internet-of-thing (IoT) device triggering the occurrence of the at least one sensory discomfort to the user by an operational state of the source IoT device; providing at least one suggestion to the user though a user interface of the device; and adjusting, based on a response of the user to the provided at least one suggestion, the operational state of the source IoT device.

Abstract: A method for context-based task management in an internet of things (IoT) network is provided. The method includes detecting an occurrence of at least one disruption while executing at least one ongoing task at an IoT device in the IoT network. The method includes identifying a contextual relationship between the at least one ongoing task and the at least one disruption. Further, the method includes performing one of continuing the at least one ongoing task at the IoT device, initiating at least one alternative task for the at least one ongoing task at the IoT device, and proceeding with at least one next task at the IoT device based on the contextual relationship between the at least one ongoing task and the at least one disruption.

Abstract: A method for providing secure pairing across devices in an Internet of Thing (IoT) environment, includes identifying presence information of one or more second IoT devices in a vicinity of a first IoT device and positional information of the one or more second IoT devices relative to the first IoT device, identifying transaction context information for one or more pairing transactions between the first IoT device and the one or more second IoT devices, generating a confidence zone based on at least one of the presence information, the positional information or the transaction context information, determining a pairing action between a target IoT device and the first IoT device based on the confidence zone and information for the target IoT device, and executing at least one action to establish or deny a secure paring between the target IoT device and the first IoT device based on the pairing action.
