摘要: Disclosed are systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer-readable media for managing networks. According to at least one example, a method is provided for connecting to a network controller across different regions. The method includes identifying a first connection with a network orchestrator during establishment of a second connection with the network orchestrator from a network controller; establishing a sibling session that links the second connection and the first connection at a control plane; inserting a sibling data message that identifies the sibling session into control messages sent; receiving a message from the network orchestrator over the second connection, the message including an address of the network controller associated with the second connection; and transmitting the second address of the network controller over the first connection to the network orchestrator.

摘要: With introduction of RDMA (Remote Data Memory Access) NICs (Network Interface Cards), it may be desirable for a client device to be able to use TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) and RDMA transports over a same RDMA NIC/IP. However, current systems do not support connections with different transport protocols from the RDMA NIC/IP. Accordingly, to solve this issue, embodiments allow a client to use different transports from the same RDMA NIC-IP in parallel. In one or more embodiments, a transport type (e.g., TCP or RDMA) may be added to or embedded in one or more identifiers thereby allowing a client to use an intended transport over a same NIC.

In some examples, a routing engine is operative to: establish sessions between a first network and a second network to exchange message data identifying destinations in the second network; and verify routing information comprising routes from endpoints in the first network to the destinations based upon the message data, including, for each route of the routes: evaluating a source or a destination for indicia of illegitimate origination, and in response to detecting an illegitimate endpoint at the at least one of a source or a destination based upon identifying one or more of the indicia of illegitimate origination, dropping a corresponding route from the routing information.

摘要: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and computer-readable media for upgrading vSmart controllers. In one aspect, a method includes an edge router receiving a notification from a vSmart controller that an upgrade to the controller will occur. The notification can be dynamically triggered by a centralized network management system. In some embodiments, the vSmart controller can run as a virtual machine (VM) and maintains a control plane connection with one or more edge routers in an overlay network. In response to the notification, a length of time of an expiry timer in which the edge router attempts to connect to the vSmart controller can be increased, and the edge router can connect to the vSmart controller once the increased length of time has passed.

摘要: A method for fetching a content from a web server to a client device is disclosed, using tunnel devices serving as intermediate devices. The client device accesses an acceleration server to receive a list of available tunnel devices. The requested content is partitioned into slices, and the client device sends a request for the slices to the available tunnel devices. The tunnel devices in turn fetch the slices from the data server, and send the slices to the client device, where the content is reconstructed from the received slices. A client device may also serve as a tunnel device, serving as an intermediate device to other client devices. Similarly, a tunnel device may also serve as a client device for fetching content from a data server. The selection of tunnel devices to be used by a client device may be in the acceleration server, in the client device, or in both. The partition into slices may be overlapping or non-overlapping, and the same slice (or the whole content) may be fetched via multiple tunnel devices.

摘要: A system is provided including a host processor, a plurality of service processors, a universal processor associated with the host processor and capable of exchanging data with each service processor, a first user device of the first user and a second user device of a second user. The universal processor receives a request from the first user device for a data transaction between the host processor and a service processor, and in response generates a code that can be interpreted by the service processor. Universal processor transmits the code to the first user device, which transmits the code to the second user device. The second user device transmits the code to the service processor. The service processor decodes the code and requests the universal processor to perform the data transaction with the host processor. In response, the universal processor sets up the data transaction.
