Abstract: There is provided a recording apparatus including a recording head that can eject an ink onto a sheet, a transport unit that transports the sheet to the recording head, a housing that contains the recording head and the transport unit, a case that is arranged on an outer surface of the housing so that the bottom portion thereof is positioned higher than a bottom surface of the housing, and that serves as a holder which holds an ink container containing an ink, and a supply unit that supplies the ink from the ink container to the recording head.

Abstract: A medium discharge device includes: a discharge unit that discharges a medium; a first medium receiving tray that receives the medium discharged by the discharge unit; and a second medium receiving tray that is provided above the first medium receiving tray in a vertical direction and receives the medium discharged by the discharge unit. The second medium receiving tray is capable of changing a position between an advance position for receiving a medium, which is discharged, by causing at least an upstream zone of the tray including an upstream side end portion in a medium discharge direction to advance to a passing route of the medium from the discharge unit toward the first medium receiving tray and a retraction position to which the upstream zone retracts from the passing route.

Abstract: A recording apparatus includes a recording head capable of ejecting ink to a sheet; a sheet cassette that holds the sheet; a transport unit that transports the sheet to the recording head; a chassis which contains the recording head and the transport unit and into which the sheet cassette is inserted; an insertion port which is formed in a side surface of the chassis and through which the sheet cassette is inserted; an ink container that contains the ink; a case which is mounted on at least one side surface adjacent to the side surface in which the insertion port of the chassis is formed and accommodates the ink container; and a supply unit (connection tube) that supplies the ink from the ink container to an inside of the chassis. A guard portion with higher rigidity than the case is formed on a lower side of the case.
