Abstract: A method is provided for measuring a shift between a carrier for a pattern (a carrier plate) and a flask and preventing a defect caused by a shift in the cavity parts. The method for preventing a defect caused by the shift in the cavity parts in molding a cope and a drag with flasks by using a cope flask (110) that is assembled with a carrier plate (130) for the cope flask and a drag flask (120) that is assembled with a carrier plate (140) for the drag flask, comprises the steps of measuring a shift between the carrier plate (130) for the cope flask and the cope flask (110), measuring a shift between the carrier plate (140) for the drag flask and the drag flask (120), measuring a shift between the cope flask (110) and the drag flask (120) that have been assembled, determining if a shift in cavity parts is within an allowable range, wherein the data on the shift is obtained based on the shift between the carrier plate (130) for the cope flask and the cope flask (110), the shift between the carrier plate (140) for the drag flask and the drag flask (120), and the shift between the cope flask (110) and the drag flask (120, that have been assembled.

Abstract: An aspect of the present invention provides a mold information management device, a casting system, and a mold information management method each of which makes it possible to reduce a rate of occurrence of defective casting products due to unreadable identification marks, as compared to a conventional rate of the occurrence. A mold information management device includes at least one processor, the processor carrying out: a determination process for determining whether an identification mark is good or not, on the basis of image data or profile data obtained by capturing an image of or scanning a surface of a mold on which the identification mark is engraved; and an associating process for associating the identification mark with information on at least one of history and properties of the mold, in a case where the identification mark has been determined to be good in the determination process.

Abstract: A mold processing system includes a conveyance line intermittently conveying a mold with a predetermined standstill time, a processing apparatus, a conveyance apparatus conveying the processing apparatus along the conveyance line, and a control unit, wherein the control unit controls the conveyance apparatus to set the processing apparatus at a position corresponding to a first position on the conveyance line and controls the processing apparatus to perform a part of the process on the mold conveyed to the first position, and the control unit controls, after completion of the part of the process, the conveyance apparatus to move the processing apparatus to a position corresponding to a second position and controls the processing apparatus to perform the rest of the process within the standstill time.
