    Abstract: The present technology relates to a communication apparatus and a communication system achieving efficient utilization of a transfer path of a wireless LAN. A communication apparatus according to an aspect of the present technology transmits a first trigger frame containing a transmission parameter used for data transmission to a plurality of apparatuses belonging to a wireless LAN, and receives data multiplexed and transmitted from the plurality of apparatuses having received the first trigger frame in accordance with the transmission parameter. In addition, the communication apparatus receives a second trigger frame transmitted from a predetermined apparatus of the plurality of apparatuses, and transmits multiplexed data to the predetermined apparatus in accordance with a transmission parameter contained in the received second trigger frame. The present technology is applicable to a communication apparatus in a wireless LAN.

    Abstract: Provided is a communication device that favorably implements SR communication and MU communication. A communication device that operates as a base station includes a determination unit that determines a communication status in a BSS of the communication device, and a control unit that controls transmission and reception of a signal regarding connection change of a terminal according to the communication status to and from a surrounding base station. The determination unit determines the presence of a small number of terminals falling outside a distribution of implementation statuses of spatial reuse communication or multi user communication of entire subordinate terminals, and transmits a signal requesting the small number of terminals to be connected to the surrounding base station or transmits a signal inquiring of the surrounding base station acceptance of the small number of terminals.

    Abstract: A plurality of sensor devices that senses environmental data at installation positions is appropriately arranged. Each sensor device includes a device detection unit, a position fixing unit, a sensor unit, and a transmission unit. The device detection unit performs operation of detecting another sensor device in the surrounding area and generates a detection result thereof. The position fixing unit fixes a position of the own sensor device on the basis of the detection result obtained by the device detection unit. The sensor unit senses environmental data at a position fixed by the position fixing unit. The transmission unit transmits the data sensed by the sensor unit.

    Abstract: To provide an excellent communication apparatus and communication method which operates with a basic service set belonging to an extended service set. A wireless terminal transmits a frame in which BSS-color and ESS-color which respectively identify a BSS and an ESS to which the own wireless terminal belongs are described. Further, part of a region for storing ESS-color is used as a region for storing BSS-color to secure the number of pieces of BSS-color sufficient to avoid overlapping. An STA stores statistical information regarding a received frame in association with BSS-color and ESS-color and performs cooperative operation within the ESS or between the ESSs.
