    摘要: Systems and methods for generating a control signal for automatic wireless network version detection of a transmission. The control signal enables a receiver to detect the wireless network version detection of the transmission, so that the proper wireless network version is used for interpreting signaling information and decoding of the payload of the transmission. In some examples, the control signal is within a preamble of the transmission. The wireless network version can be an IEEE 802.11 version, such as proposed IEEE 802.11be. The control signal is compatible with legacy systems and can indicate the legacy signaling information by way of a Legacy Signal (SIG) (L-SIG) symbol. In some examples, the control signal can indicate the wireless network version by using an identifier symbol which is generated from at least part of, but is not identical to, the L-SIG symbol.

The communication network has configuration data including a network identifier and a network key. The programs provide a user interface for commissioning the target device. The target device includes a second processor, a second wireless radio, and a second commissioning element to receive the network configuration data. The target device decodes the network configuration data to commission the target device onto the communication network. The electronic device sends the network configuration data to the target device and receives confirmation that the target device has successfully connected to the communication network. The electronic device displays the success in a user interface.

    摘要: The present invention enables a user to share his/her listening experience selectively with others without sharing headphones and without disturbing others who do not want to listen. In a preferred embodiment, a first listener can accomplish this by storing in a Portable Electronic Device or similar device a library of listening experiences, listening to one of the listening experiences, and while listening to that one listening experience streaming the one listening experience to at least one other Portable Electronic Device or similar device. A second listener at the other Portable Electronic Device can then listen to the same listening experience as the first listener at the same time. It is expected that the listening experiences will typically be songs or other music but the invention may be practiced with any type of audio content. The first listener may also create a playlist of the listening experiences in the library and make the playlist available to others. Others may use the playlist to access the library and listen to one or more listening experiences stored in the library. Also, utilizing the same interface and communication methodologies as described above, the technology platform detailed in this application can be used for commercial purposes to stream location based content, audio and otherwise, to a connected network of Portable Electronic Devices. Commercial uses of this functionality include providing commercial establishments with the ability to create synchronous (users come into a stream at the exact point that it is being streamed in real time) and or asynchronous (users can select and start a transmission from the beginning) featured channels (location based) where they can stream any self created or otherwise authorized content to other Portable Electronic Devices in their range.

    摘要: Disclosed is a wireless communication terminal for performing communication wirelessly. The wireless communication terminal includes: a first wireless transceiver, which transmits/receives a signal through a first waveform; a second wireless receiver, which receives a signal through a second waveform different from the first waveform; and a processor. The processor receives, via the second wireless receiver, a first wake-up radio (WUR) frame from a base wireless communication terminal of a basic service set (BSS) to which the wireless communication terminal belongs, determines whether the wireless communication terminal is an intended recipient of the first WUR according to whether the BSS is one corresponding to a multiple BSS identifier (BSSID) set when an identifier field of the first WUR frame indicates a transmitter ID for identifying the base wireless communication terminal, and wakes up the first wireless transceiver based on the first WUR frame when the wireless communication terminal is the intended recipient of the first WUR frame.

    摘要: The present radio system transmits an electromagnetic signal to nearby devices requesting the device respond. The radio system also receives responses to the electromagnetic signal from the nearby devices. Based on the radio technology used, the signaling of the transmitted electromagnetic signal may be varied. For example, the transmitted electromagnetic signal may be a Bluetooth, 802.11, or other radio signal. A device that received the signal from the radio unit may transmit a response signal with the same radio technology. However, in some instances, the radio technology used for communication may operate on several radio (e.g., frequency) channels. Both the transmitter and receiver must operate on the same channel at the same time in order to communicate. Thus, it may be desirable to transmit the electromagnetic signal on more than one channel at the same time, in order to increase the chances that a nearby device responds.
