Abstract: An electronic device includes a processing circuit configured to: receive information about a number N of candidate transmit beams from a user device, wherein N is an integer greater than 1; select from the N candidate transmit beams a transmit beam for sending downlink information to the user device; and determine, on the basis of the selected transmit beam, a transmission configuration indication (TCI) state, and send the TCI state to the user device.
