Abstract: A diaphragm pressure actuated switch comprising two housings sandwiching the diaphragm therebetween. Integral circumferentially spaced stops with a length less than the diaphragm thickness project from one housing, and extend through the diaphragm into contact with the other housing, thereby preventing fracture of the diaphragm upon the application of excessive clamping forces.
