Abstract: A display device includes a folding area foldable around a virtual folding axis, and a non-folding area adjacent to the folding area, a display panel, and a window disposed on the display panel. The window includes a patterned glass including a patterned part having at least one groove pattern on a top surface of the patterned part, and corresponding to the folding area, and a non-patterned part adjacent to the patterned part and corresponding to the non-folding area, and a filling layer filled in the at least one groove pattern. Abstract: Embodiments provide a window and a display device including the window. The window includes a base substrate including a first surface and a second surface which face each other, and a filling portion. The base substrate has a concave portion defined on at least one of the first surface and the second surface, a difference between a refractive index of the base substrate at a wavelength of about 589 nm and a refractive index of the filling portion is less than or equal to about 0.02, a difference between an Abbe No. of the base substrate and an Abbe No. of the filling portion is less than or equal to about 5.0, and the filling portion fills the concave portion. The window and the display thus exhibits satisfactory folding properties and impact resistance, as well as improved optical properties and display quality that prevent reflection color from being viewed.
