Abstract:
An organic light emitting display that defines a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix form as a plurality of pixel row groups, each of which includes the same number of pixel rows and individually drives the respective pixel row groups. The organic light emitting display includes a display unit including the plurality of pixels, a plurality of data lines, and a plurality of scan lines: a scan driving unit configured to apply scan signals to the plurality of pixels; a data driving unit configured to apply data voltages that are provided to the plurality of pixels to a first output line; and a data distribution unit configured to selectively connect at least two data lines that are continuously arranged to the first output line according to demultiplexing signals. The demultiplexing signals that correspond to the pixel rows included in the respective pixel row groups have different pulse widths.
Abstract:
A display device includes: a display panel including a plurality of pixels; a data driver configured to supply a black voltage to the display panel; and a controller configured to: set an initial driving power voltage of the display panel; decide a bright spot voltage of the display panel while the data driver is supplying the black voltage to the display panel; and set any one of the bright spot voltage and the initial driving power voltage as a final driving power voltage.
Abstract:
An organic light emitting display device includes a data driver, a pixel unit, a timing controller, and a power generator. The data driver generates data signals to be supplied to data lines based on gamma voltages. The pixel unit controls the amount of current flowing from a first power supply to a second power supply in each of a plurality of pixels based on the data signals and a reference power voltage. The timing controller limits the maximum brightness of the pixel unit corresponding to a plurality of dimming levels. The first power generator changes the voltage of the first power supply corresponding to the dimming levels.
Abstract:
A display device includes: pixels each connected to a corresponding scan signal among scan lines, a corresponding data line among data lines, and a corresponding emission control line among emission control lines; and an emission driver which supplies an emission control signal to the emission control lines. The emission control signal includes a first emission control signal having a first width and a second emission control signal having a second width during an active area of one frame.
Abstract:
A display device includes at least a first luminance range and a second luminance range which includes a luminance different from the first luminance range. In a boundary area of a second dimming range corresponding to the second luminance range and which is adjacent to a first dimming range corresponding to the first luminance range, a reference luminance emitted from a pixel is maintained as a first constant luminance value, and an off-duty number, which is the number of periods in which the pixel is turned off during one frame, is gradually increased by an emission control signal.
