Abstract:
An antenna for an electronic device is disclosed that can reduce or prevent problems such as a shock hazard and/or an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) issue, particularly in the case when device are subjected to impact such as being dropped. The antenna includes a radiator; an antenna clip connected with a metallic housing of the electronic device; a capacitor includes a part of the antenna clip; and a feeding part and a ground for operating the antenna.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for determining a valid user input in an electronic device is provided. The electronic device generally includes a touch unit included in a touch input circuit, wherein the touch unit corresponds to a touch area, a signal generator configured to transmit a signal to a first signal line and a second signal line by generating the signal, a signal measuring device configured to measure a part of a modified signal based on the transmitted signal, and a signal determiner configured to determine whether a user input is provided to the touch area based on the measured signal. The first signal line connects the signal generator and the touch unit, and the second signal line extends from the signal generator and is parallel with the first signal line.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes: a first switching regulator configured to output a predetermined voltage to a first unit of an electronic device through on/off switching corresponding to a control signal received from a switching control unit; a second switching regulator configured to output a predetermined voltage to a second unit of the electronic device through on/off switching corresponding to a control signal received from the switching control unit; and a switching control unit configured to determine an off timing of each switching regulator corresponding to an on/off duty ratio of the each switching regulator and control on/off of the each switching regulator in order to turn on the second switching regulator at an off timing of the first switching regulator.
