Abstract: A method for determining a health of a display assembly of a foldable electronic device is provided. The method includes detecting a sequence of folds of the display assembly of the foldable electronic device. Further, the method includes determining a first plurality of parameters associated with the sequence of folds of the display assembly. Further, the method includes determining a second plurality of parameters associated with a concentrated load on the display assembly. Further, the method includes determining a residual stress for the display assembly based on the first plurality of parameters and the second plurality of parameters. Further, the method includes determining the health of the display assembly based on the residual stress for the display assembly of the foldable electronic device.

Abstract: The embodiments herein disclose methods and systems for monitoring health of eyes of a user, a method includes determining ambient light around an electronic device of the user. On determining that the ambient light is below a pre-defined threshold, the method includes determining a lumen output of at least one content to be displayed in at least one of a continuous manner and at pre-configured intervals. Based on the determined lumen output and at least one user profile, the method includes estimating a variation in a pupil size of the user. Further, the method includes generating an eye health index for the user based on the estimated variation in the pupil size of the user. Further, the method includes tagging the at least one content as safe based on the eye health index for viewing the at least one content.

Abstract: A method for performing actions by a wearable device is provided. The method includes detecting at least one signal indicating a movement of a muscle of the wrist, via an array of biometric sensors exposed through an inner peripheral surface of a substantially circular band of the wearable device, identifying an orientation of the wearable device corresponding to the at least one signal, and providing, based at least in part on the identification, a function corresponding to the orientation of the wearable device. The method further includes detecting, by the wearable device, an absolute orientation of the wearable device using at least one of an inertial sensor and the one or more body sensors. The method further includes dynamically performing an action, by the wearable device, based on a pre-stored mapping of the at least one physiological parameter and the absolute orientation of the wearable device.

Abstract: Provided are a method and an apparatus of managing a folding performed on a flexible device. The apparatus includes a foldable display, at least one sensor coupled to the foldable display, and a processor. The at least one sensor includes at least two sensing elements each of the at least two sensing elements is arranged asymmetrically with respect to each other along the foldable display. The processor is configured to determine at least one of a location and an angle of folding of the foldable display based on sensed values detected from the at least two sensing elements. The processor is also configured to render content on the foldable display based on the location and the angle of the folding.
