An electronic device and a method are provided. The electronic device includes a display; and a processor configured to detect at least one representative color of an image using a color palette that is determined through information corresponding to at least a portion of the image displayed on the display and at least one of specified conditions of the electronic device, convert a color of an object displayed on the display using the representative color, and control the display to display the color-converted object.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatuses are provide for displaying a representative color of an image. One or more images are displayed on a display. A scroll operation corresponding to a user input is identified for displaying a plurality of images subsequently following the one or more images. During the scroll operation, at least one of the one or more images and a plurality of objects are displayed together on the display. Each of the plurality of objects is displayed in place of a respective one of the plurality of images and each of the plurality of objects is displayed as a solid-color object corresponding to one representative color of the respective one of the plurality of images. After the solid-color objects are displayed during the scroll operation, the at least one of the one or more images and the plurality of images are displayed together on the display. The plurality of images being displayed in place of the solid-color objects.

A control method of an electronic device, an electronic device, and a control method of an electronic device that performs encoding are provided. The control method of the electronic device includes obtaining a video, determining a part corresponding to a user gaze on a first frame in the first frame of the video, determining a decoding-target part, which includes the part corresponding to the user gaze on the first frame and has a size greater than or equal to the part corresponding to the user gaze on the first frame, decoding the decoding-target part, and displaying an image of the part corresponding to the user gaze on the first frame among the decoding-target part.
