A text-based content management method and apparatus of an electronic device are provided. The electronic device includes a communication unit configured to communicate with an external device, a display unit configured to display a message management screen comprising a text input window, and a control unit configured to detect at least one entity text among texts displayed on the text input window in response to characters input therein, control the display unit to display relevant information corresponding to the detected at least one entity text in response to a first input selecting the entity text, the selected at least one entity text being a search keyword for retrieving the relevant information, and generate a text-based content in which the retrieved relevant information is linked to the selected at least one entity text in response to a second input selecting the retrieved relevant information.
Abstract:
An electronic apparatus includes a communication interface, a memory, a microphone, a speaker, a touch screen display, and at least one processor. The electronic apparatus transmits voice input and identification information matched with the compatible information, to an external server in response to receiving a voice input for performing a task, to obtain state information of an executing application. The electronic apparatus stores the incompatible information matched with the identification information in the memory, receives action information, which is generated based on the voice input and the compatible information, and the compatible information from the external server, to obtain the incompatible information stored in the memory, using the identification information matched with the compatible information. The electronic apparatus performs the task based on the action information, and uses the obtained incompatible information when performing the task. The obtained state information includes compatible information, incompatible information, and identification information (ID).

An electronic device includes a communication circuit, a display, a microphone, a processor, and a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to display a first user interface on the display, receive a user's utterance for executing a task through the microphone, control the communication circuit to transmit data related to the received user's utterance to an external server, control the communication circuit to receive notification information associated with execution of the task and a plan for executing the task from the external server, display a second user interface including notification information received from the external server in association with execution of the task on the display, and display a third user interface for the task executed based on the plan received from the external server on the display based on satisfaction of a condition for executing the task.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for providing adaptive travel itineraries are provided. The apparatus includes an electronic device. The method includes receiving at least one piece of first itinerary information generated by an external device based on first situation information, acquiring second itinerary information generated by changing at least a part of the first itinerary information based on at least one of a user and second situation information, and providing the second itinerary information to the user.
Abstract:
An electronic device and method are disclosed herein. The electronic device includes memory storing a certificate list including first certificate data of the electronic device, and second certificate data of an external electronic device, a short-range wireless communication circuit, and a processor. The processor implements the method, including: detecting a trigger event for requesting establishment a communication connection with a device local to the electronic device, controlling the short-range wireless communication circuit to broadcast an advertisement packet generated based on the first certificate data, in response to detecting the trigger event, receiving a response packet from the external electronic device and acquire a third certificate data from the received response packet, authenticating the external electronic device based on the second certificate data and the third certificate data, and establishing a secure communication channel with the external electronic device if the external electronic device is authenticated.

A method for processing plan is provided. The method includes multiple end points including obtaining an intent corresponding to a user utterance, generating the plan for setting a connection order of actions for executing the intent, determining whether there are multiple end points of the actions, determining whether the actions having different end points are independent, and combining actions having the same end points to generate a plurality of sub plans again and then processing the plurality of sub plans in parallel when the actions having the different end points are independent.

An electronic device may include a display, a communication circuit, a processor operatively connected to the display and the communication circuit, and a memory operatively connected to the processor, wherein the memory may store instructions which, when executed, cause the processor to: receive information relating to at least one application installed in an external electronic device from the external electronic device through the communication circuit; configure, on the basis of the received information, the at least one application as a remote control application controlled by the electronic device; receive a notification message related to the remote control application from the external electronic device through the communication circuit; and display, on the display, a first object indicating reception of the notification message. An electronic device includes a communication circuit, a display, a microphone, a processor operatively connected to the communication circuit, the display, and the microphone, and a memory operatively connected to the processor, wherein the memory is configured to store instructions which, when executed, cause the processor to control the electronic device to: transmit information related to a predetermined event to a server through the communication circuit in response to detection of the predetermined event through an application, display a user interface through the display in response to reception of information related to the user interface including at least one visual object selectable by a user to control a function of the application through the communication circuit, receive a user-uttered input for selecting one of the at least one visual object included in the user interface through the microphone, and transmit information related to the user-uttered input to the server through the communication circuit to perform a function corresponding to the visual object selected by the user-uttered input.
