The at least one processor is configured to identify overheating of the transceiver and/or the at least one processor, and wirelessly transmit a message including overheating assistance information based on the identified overheating to the base station via the transceiver. The overheating assistance information includes information about radio resources to be discontinuously processed by the apparatus in a time domain.

Abstract: An operating method of a wireless communication device configured to perform wireless communication with a cell. The method involves identifying, from a downlink signal received from the cell, an electromagnetic field state associated with an antenna of the wireless communication device. A power compensation mode for compensating transmission power of a sounding reference signal is selected based on the identified electromagnetic field state. The transmission power of the sounding reference signal is compensated based on the selected power compensation mode. The sounding reference signal is transmitted with the compensated transmission power through the antenna to the cell.

Abstract: A wireless communication device and a channel estimating method thereof are provided. A wireless communication device includes an interlayer interference detector configured to receive a reference signal including a plurality of layers transmitted through a plurality of ports respectively connected to a plurality of antennas and to determine whether interlayer interference occurs based on the reference signal; and a channel estimator configured to estimate a channel matrix by executing an algorithm that is based on whether the interlayer interference occurs. The wireless communication device may decode a receive signal based on the estimated channel matrix.
