    Abstract: This application discloses a channel state information feedback method and apparatus, a medium, and a program product. A terminal obtains a long-period reporting amount of a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) in channel state information. N1 characteristic subspace beams are represented by a linear combination of M1 DFT base vectors in a first group of DFT base vectors, and N2 characteristic subspace beams are represented by a linear combination of M2 DFT base vectors in a second group of DFT base vectors. The long-period reporting amount includes indication information of the M1 DFT base vectors, indication information of the M2 DFT base vectors, a linear combination coefficient of the M1 DFT base vectors, and a linear combination coefficient of the M2 DFT base vectors. The terminal sends the long-period reporting amount of the PMI to an access network device.

The method in embodiments of this application includes: determining, by a terminal, N to-be-measured channel state information reference signals CSI-RSs, where N is an integer greater than 1; measuring, by the terminal, the N CSI-RSs to obtain CSI, where the CSI includes a transmission rank, beam indexes respectively corresponding to P CSI-RSs, and a bitmap corresponding to the P CSI-RSs, the bitmap is used to indicate coefficients, subjected to frequency-domain compression, of beams that need feedback of the CSI-RS, and P is an integer less than or equal to N; and transmitting, by the terminal, the CSI to a network-side device.

    Abstract: This application provides a transmission precoding matrix indication method and a device. The method includes: determining a bit quantity of a transmission precoding matrix indicator field corresponding to a subband scheduled for uplink based on downlink control information received from a network device, where the bit quantity of the transmission precoding matrix indicator field corresponding to the subband is related to a quantity of subbands corresponding to the resource scheduled for uplink; and further, determining an uplink transmission precoding matrix corresponding to the subband based on the bit quantity of the transmission precoding matrix indicator field corresponding to the subband and the uplink transmission layer quantity. A transmission precoding matrix indicator field can be effectively used, and control channel resource utilization is improved.

    Abstract: A UE may identify, in at least one round of a federated learning procedure, at least one gradient update based on local data and a local copy of a machine learning model associated with the federated learning procedure. The UE may transmit, in the at least one round of the federated learning procedure, for a network node, an indication of the at least one gradient update based on a sign of the at least one gradient update and a non-coherent orthogonal modulation scheme. The network node may identify, in at least one round of the federated learning procedure, an accumulated sign of the at least one gradient update based on a first received power associated with the at least one first resource and a second received power associated with the at least one second resource.
