Abstract: An electronic includes: a housing including a first plate, a second plate, and a side member; a display; a conductive coil parallel to the second plate and disposed between the display and the second plate; a wireless charging circuitry electrically connected to the conductive coil; and a processor operatively connected with the display and the wireless charging circuitry. The wireless charging circuitry receives a signal for wirelessly transferring power to an external electronic device from the processor, receives information about the external electronic device, receives a power control signal from the external electronic device via the conductive coil, applies a charging current of a first frequency to the conductive coil based at least in part on a request signal, increases a frequency of the charging current, compares the increased frequency with a first value, and adjusts a duty cycle of the charging current.

A spurious emission is identified by setting a first time interval in which a feedback receiver operates in a spurious emission detection mode, and identifying a spurious emission from the electronic device by analyzing a feedback signal obtained by the feedback receiver based on a first resolution bandwidth and a second resolution bandwidth in the first time interval.

The electronic device comprising a flexible display includes a first area and a second area extending from the first area, a motor module configured to move at least a part of the second area according to a driving state in the first state and the second state, and a processor electrically connected to the flexible display and the motor module. The processor identifies a characteristic value related to the motor module when being changed from the first state to the second state and controls the motor module such that an area exposed to the outside of the electronic device among the second area is changed based on the identified characteristic value.

Abstract: A method for wireless charging an electronic device and a method therefor are provided. The electronic device includes a near field communication device, a wireless charging device including a conductive coil, and at least one processor operatively connected to the near field communication device and the wireless charging device. The at least one processor is configured to transmit a first ping, using the near field communication device, receive first acknowledgement (ACK) information responsive to the first ping from an external electronic device, transmit a second ping, using the wireless charging device, based on that the first ACK information is received, and control the wireless charging device such that a charging current flows through the conductive coil based on second ACK information responsive to the second ping being received from the external electronic device within a specified time from the transmission of the second ping.
