Abstract:
A method and a system for transmitting a video wirelessly in a portable terminal are provided. The method includes connecting a data channel to transmit a multimedia data and a control channel to transmit a control command when activating a wireless video transmission mode which may transmit the multimedia data wirelessly, and transmitting a transmission requested multimedia data to a reception terminal through the data channel when transmission of the multimedia data is requested, and transmitting a current volume information to the reception terminal through the control channel.

A method of translating an Internet protocol (IP) packet, the method including forming, by a first electronic device, a forwarding table by assigning a first IP address and a second IP address to a second electronic device, a tethering service being provided to the second electronic device through the first electronic device through an internal network, the first IP address and the second IP address having different formats and being associated in the forwarding table, and performing, by the first electronic device, an IP address translation on a first IP packet to be transmitted based on the forwarding table such that the first IP packet includes the first IP address or the second IP address, the first IP packet being included in a communication between the second electronic device and an external network through the internal network and the first electronic device.

An electronic device and method for providing vehicle information based on personal authentication and vehicle authentication are disclosed. According to various example embodiments, an electronic device includes a communication module comprising communication circuitry configured to communicate with a vehicle device and a first server and a processor electrically connected with the communication module, in which the processor is configured to receive an encrypted session key set including at least one session key from the first server, to transmit the encrypted session key set to the vehicle device, receive, from the vehicle device, second vehicle information in which first vehicle information of the vehicle device is encrypted using a first session key of the at least one session key and is signed using a secret key of the vehicle device, and to transmit, to the first server, third vehicle information in which the received second vehicle information is signed using a secret key of a user.
