Disclosed are a content zooming method and a terminal implementing the same, in which content displayed on a screen can be zoomed based on a bending extent of the screen. The content zooming method in a terminal having a flexible display unit includes: displaying content on a screen of the flexible display unit; determining whether the content is a subject to be zoomed; calculating a bending extent of the screen by periods when the content is the subject to be zoomed; determining a zooming rate based on the bending extent calculated by periods; and zooming the content at the zooming rate.

A method and system for audio channel setup for an electronic device connected with one or more external electronic devices is provided. The method includes configuring audio channel information for the electronic device and the one or more external electronic devices, determining whether a master device is changed between the electronic device and one or more external electronic devices, and sending, when the master device is changed, the configured audio channel information to a new master device.

A user function operation method and an electronic device supporting the same are provided. The user function operation method includes executing a user function according to at least one of a selection event and a preset execution cycle by loading program data realizing the user function on a memory and starting a timer, outputting information collected during execution of the user function, and removing, upon expiration of the timer, the program data from the memory while sustaining information output by the user function.

A method of determining an End Point Detection (EPD) time and an electronic device for performing the method are provided. The electronic device includes a processor and a memory electrically connected to the processor and configured to store commands executed by the processor. The processor may be configured to recognize an utterance when the commands are executed, determine an End Point Detection (EPD) time for terminating recognition of the utterance based on utterance data stored in the memory, and terminate the recognition of the utterance when the utterance is not additionally input within the EPD time. The utterance data may include sentence data, which includes a pattern related to a sentence type of the utterance, and word data, which includes a word of the utterance.

A method of performing distributed processing on an artificial intelligence model may be performed by a first electronic apparatus. The method may include: obtaining performance information of a second electronic apparatus; splitting the artificial intelligence model into a plurality of split models; estimating a processing time required for the second electronic apparatus to execute each of the plurality of split models based on the performance information; based on the estimated processing time, determining at least one split model to be executed by the second electronic apparatus, from among the plurality of split models; and requesting the second electronic apparatus to execute the at least one split model to enable distributed processing of the artificial intelligence model.

Disclosed is an electronic device and a method for controlling the electronic device. The method for controlling an electronic device includes: searching for an external device connectable to an electronic device; requesting information, from an external device identified by the searching, about an application installed in the external device; receiving, from the external device, information corresponding to the installed application; identifying at least one application, among a plurality of applications included in the information corresponding to the installed application, which is executable by the electronic device; displaying, on a display, at least one icon corresponding to the at least one identified application based on the information corresponding to the installed application; and based on one of the at least one icon being selected, requesting information required for execution of an application corresponding to the selected icon by communicating with the external device and executing the application installed in the external device.
