    摘要: A paper conveying apparatus which facilitates increased printing speed in a printer, such as a laser printer, by providing rollers which are rotated at different respective speeds at different times during a paper feeding and image transfer operation, so as to provide even feeding of the paper to an image transfer device. The paper is fed, one sheet at a time, relatively rapidly to the image transfer device, and at a slower speed, in synchronism with the image transfer operation, while transfer is being effected.

In one embodiment, a printhead includes at least one row of jetting channels configured to jet droplets of a print fluid using piezoelectric actuators. A drive circuit includes an input voltage generator that applies a step voltage to a piezoelectric actuator of a jetting channel, and an output voltage detector that detects an output voltage across the piezoelectric actuator over time in response to the step voltage. The drive circuit also includes a temperature detector that determines a voltage response to the step voltage at the piezoelectric actuator based on the output voltage over time, and determines a temperature measurement for the piezoelectric actuator based on the voltage response of the piezoelectric actuator.

    摘要: In a paper feed control system for a cut sheet-double side printing laser printer having a paper feed portion for stacking a plurality of paper sheets cut to a predetermined size; a paper feed mechanism for feeding the paper sheets one by one from the paper feed portion; a printing mechanism portion for printing first page data to one surface of the paper sheet, fed from the paper feed mechanism, by an electrophotographic means; and a return feed path which in order to print second page data to the other surface of the paper sheet, inverts the front and reverse surfaces of the paper sheet having the printed surface so as to selectively feed the paper sheet again to the printing mechanism portion. A plurality of feed roller mechanisms are provided which can be driven independently of one another so that the speeds of travel of a plurality of paper sheets in the feed path are changed independently of one another in accordance with the condition of the printer device or a host device.
