    摘要: A hinge mechanism includes a main shaft (2), a torsion spring (6) and a housing (8). The main shaft has a first shaft end (20) and an opposite second shaft end (21). The main shaft includes a stopping mechanism (26) provided at the first shaft end. The torsion spring surrounds the main shaft. The torsion spring has two ends and a substantially hollow interior. The housing is cylinder-shaped and hollow, having a first housing end and a second housing end with a shaft-receiving opening. The main shaft and the torsion spring are inserted into the housing. The stopping mechanism stops the main shaft from becoming disassembled from the housing. The main shaft is inserted into the torsion spring and received in the shaft-receiving opening of the housing. Also included is an electronic device having such a hinge mechanism. The hinge mechanism is easily manufactured and has a nice interchangeability.

    摘要: A foldable electronic device (100) includes a main housing (60) and a cover (80) mounted to the main housing by a hinge (20). The cover is movable between a first position where a side of the main housing is covered by the cover and a second position where the side of the main housing is revealed from the cover. The hinge includes an axle (22), a block (26) retained on the axle with threading engagement therebetween, and an elastic member (24) retained between the axle and the block. When the block is moved to guide the cover to the first position, the elastic member is compressed. When the block is released, the block automatically moves due to decompression of the elastic member to drive the cover to the second position.

The latch includes a button member (40) and an elastic member (50). The button member resists/biases the elastic member. The button member is received in the button hole of the battery cover and the latch receiving portion of the housing. The tab engages with the latch receiving portion. The elastic member has at least one clasp (56), which locks with a corresponding tab of the battery cover to the housing. When the elastic member is pressed by the button member, the clasp releases the tab. This release provides a user with convenient disassembly mechanism for the device.
