摘要： An apparatus for filtering contaminants from marking particles within a conduit is provided. The apparatus includes a mover for moving the marking particles in the conduit and a screen positioned adjacent the conduit so that the marking particles pass through the screen. The apparatus also includes an applicator for applying an electrical bias between the mover and the screen to facilitate the passage of marking particles through the screen.

摘要： A device for forming two twisted loops on the ends of a wire electrode to be used in scavengeless development. The wire is supported at both ends in a wire twisting apparatus and a specified tension is applied to the free ends of the wire. A crank is turned so that the both ends of the wire rotate at the same time. This causes the free ends of the wire to twist upon the suspended wire portion, two loops being formed at the ends of the wire. The twisted sections are stable and strong enough to maintain the loops when the wire is mounted in the development system.

摘要： A color electrophotographic printing machine, wherein an electrostatic latent image recorded on a photoconductive member is developed with toner of a first color and toner of a second color to form a visible image thereof, the electrophotographic printing machine including a system, for removing contaminates from toner of a first color and toner of a second color moving from a toner dispenser to a developer housing, the system including: a mounting assembly, a filter system mounted on the mounting assembly, the filter system having a screen for permitting toner of the first color to travel therethrough while inhibiting contaminants from traveling therethrough when vibrated; a first vibration driver, operatively connected to the screen, for vibrating the screen; a second filter system mounted on the mounting assembly, the filter system having a screen for permitting toner of the second color to travel therethrough while inhibiting contaminants from traveling therethrough when vibrated; and a second vibration driver being operatively connected to vibrate the screen, and coacting with the first vibration driver, for damping ocillation of the mounting assembly.

摘要： An apparatus which develops an electrostatic latent image recorded on a photoconductive member employed in an electrophotographic printing machine having a finite, usable life. The apparatus employs a developer material which ages during the life of the electrophotographic printing machine. A continuous supply of carrier granules is furnished to the developer material. The addition of these carrier granules extends the useful life of the developer material so as to correspond to at least the useful life of the electrophotographic printing machine.

摘要： A method feeds a continuous core of a print cartridge cleaning blade along a path. The path passes, in the following order, firstly through a coating bath or spray coating station, secondly by a curing station, thirdly through a cutter, and fourthly to a finisher station. Thus, the method herein coats portions of the continuous core that are in the coating bath/spray station with an outer covering. For portions of the continuous core that are adjacent the curing station, the method cures the outer covering of the continuous core; for portions of the continuous core that are in the cutter, the method cuts the continuous core into predetermined lengths; and for portions of the predetermined lengths of the continuous core that are adjacent the finishing station, the method finishes the outer covering of the predetermined lengths of the continuous core to produce a finished print cartridge cleaning blade.
