摘要: According to an aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a cleaning device including: an elastic plate-shaped cleaning unit that has a tip portion disposed in contact with a surface of an object-to-be-cleaned which moves in a predetermined direction, is provided to be inclined in a direction facing a moving direction of the object-to-be-cleaned, and cleans hot-melt powder remaining on the object-to-be-cleaned; a facing unit that is disposed in contact with a back surface side of the object-to-be-cleaned and is provided to face the cleaning unit across the object-to-be-cleaned; and a heating unit that heats a contact portion of the cleaning unit to a temperature lower than a softening point of the powder by heating the facing unit.

摘要: A method is disclosed for producing a recycled developer from a waste developer generated by development of a water-developable flexographic printing original plate that has a photosensitive resin layer made from a photosensitive resin composition containing a water-dispersible resin. The method includes: leaving the waste developer to stand still in a tank so as to emerge and flocculate the photosensitive resin composition dispersed in the waste developer and thus form a solid-liquid mixed phase containing a resin flocculate beneath a liquid surface of the waste developer; and discharging the solid-liquid mixed phase containing the resin flocculate from an outlet formed on a side surface of the tank and obtaining, as a recycled developer, a liquid left in the tank, characterized in that a level of the waste developer in the tank at the time of starting the discharge is higher than the lowest position of an aperture of the outlet.

摘要: An image forming apparatus includes an image carrier, a cleaning unit, a development device, and a control unit. The development device includes a toner collection mechanism having a developer carrier and a filter. The control unit is capable of executing a scattered toner recovery mode at non-image forming time, in which the filter is vibrated, a potential difference is generated in the direction for the toner to move from the developer carrier to the image carrier, the developer carrier is rotated in a reverse direction to that at image forming time, and the image carrier is rotated in the same direction as that at the image forming time, so that scattered toner, which has dropped from the filter and adhered to the developer carrier, is recovered by the cleaning unit via the image carrier.

A scanner unit is configured to expose the photosensitive drum to light. The scanner unit is located between the photosensitive drum and the grip portion as viewed in a third direction which is perpendicular to the first and second directions.

摘要: A cleaning device includes a cleaning blade disposed in contact with a rotator, a toner collecting section disposed along the rotator and the cleaning blade and includes a groove extending in an axial direction of the rotator, a conveyor disposed in the groove, and an agitator disposed on a side of a rim of the groove. The conveyor rotates to convey the toner in a longitudinal direction of the groove. The agitator vibrates through contact with the conveyor and includes comb-tooth portions lined in a comb shape in the longitudinal direction of the groove, and bent portions, each of which is bent from an end of one of the comb-tooth portions. The comb-tooth portions contact a circumference of the conveyor to vibrate. The bent portions are lined at intervals smaller than intervals on a base side of the comb-tooth portions.
