Abstract: The present application provides a display panel and a controlling method thereof. The method includes: obtaining two grayscale values corresponding to two locations in a same frame, wherein two data voltages of the two locations are transmitted by the same data line; obtaining a grayscale threshold value, and determining a grayscale difference value according to the two grayscale values; when an absolute value of the grayscale difference value is greater than grayscale threshold value, obtaining a first voltage range, and determining the two data voltages corresponding to the two locations according to the first voltage range and the two grayscale values.

Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a power management chip, a driving method, and a driving system. The power management chip includes a register, a signal receiving circuit configured to receive a second voltage data, and a processing circuit configured to examine the first voltage data and the second voltage data and write the second voltage data into the register when the first voltage data and the second voltage data are different. After the signal receiving circuit receives the second voltage data, the processing circuit examines the first voltage data and the second voltage data to prevent the first voltage data from being modified. This prevents the abnormality of the display and solves the above-mentioned problem of a conventional power management chip, whose data may be modified such that the display panel abnormally displays.

Abstract: A display device driving method and the display device are provided. The display device driving method determines a driving voltage value of each backlight unit based on a content to be displayed by a display unit corresponding to each backlight unit, achieving dynamic adjustment of luminous brightness of the backlight unit according to the display content of the corresponding display unit. Meanwhile, the driving voltage value is related to a noise in an image. Therefore, a better backlight brightness value can be obtained by reducing an influence of the noise on the adjustment of the luminous brightness.

Abstract: A signal processing method of a display panel and a device using same are provided. The method includes obtaining a bit error rate of each adjusted data to obtain multiple initial bit error rates; and selecting one of the initial bit error rates from the multiple initial bit error rates. The bit error rate is used as a feedback bit error rate; when the feedback bit error rate falls within a preset range, a current pre-emphasis coefficient is used as a target pre-emphasis coefficient, and a video signal is compensated according to the target pre-emphasis coefficient.

Abstract: An electrical level shifting chip and a display device are provided. The electrical level shifting chip includes an electrical level shifting module, an overcurrent protecting module, and a controlling module. The control module is configured to detect whether the electrical level shifting chip is in an electrostatic discharge test mode and to disable the overcurrent protecting module when the electrical level shifting chip is in the electrostatic discharge test mode. Avoid the overcurrent protecting module from being disturbed and causing malfunction during an electrostatic discharge test.
