摘要： The invention relates to a method for updating data and/or software embedded in an electronic device comprising a communication interface and being suitable to be controlled remotely by a remote control device, the electronic device comprises a mechanical casing cabinet and being configurable into at least one standby mode, said method being characterized in that it comprises the steps of detecting the presence of the remote control device in the receptacle for a determined period, of configuring the standby mode following the detection of the remote control device and of updating embedded data via the intermediary of the communication interface, the update being carried out according to the presence of the remote control device in the receptacle. The invention also relates to the device implementing the method.
