    摘要: A first cutter 130 (cutting unit) is provided between a color recording unit 120 (the first printing unit) and an overcoat recording unit 140 (the second printing unit). A portion whereon color printing is completed by the color recording unit 120 of a recording paper 200 (printing medium) is cut off by the first cutter 130 and detached. An overcoat recording unit 140 performs an overcoat process on the detached recording paper (printing medium strip). In parallel with this, the color recording unit 120 performs next color printing on the recording paper 200. This makes it possible to reduce a printing time in a printing device including a plurality of printing processes without deteriorating printing quality. Further, an useless paper feeding is eliminated by optimally arranging the color recording unit 120, the first cutter 130, the overcoat recording unit 140, and the second cutter 160, etc. in accordance with a size of a printing area.

    摘要: A reversible thermal recording medium having a core material capable of being change in state by heat and a recording layer including capsules containing this core material. A repeatability corresponding to the limit of possible repeated recording/erasing effected by a physical or chemical change in the material constituting the recording can be obtained. A deterioration in image quality caused by transfer of a part of the recording layer to the heating unit can be prevented and repeat characteristics can be improved, thereby limiting the running cost.

    摘要: A rewritable recording/display apparatus using a rewritable recording medium in which color development reaction occurs by thermal energy at a predetermined temperature, and in which a color extinguishing reaction occurs by thermal energy at a temperature lower than the color development temperature, and which is capable of repeatingly performing recording and erasing of images. The apparatus also has a color developing heating device for recording an image on the rewritable recording medium by heating the rewritable recording medium, and an erasing heating device for erasing the image after the image has been recorded. Thus, the apparatus is designed so as to have a recording section simplified and reduced in size, and to reduce the maintenance and running cost. A method of erasing a rewritable record enables images to be erased completely or suitably in terms of practice and enables formation of high-quality image after erasing of the previous image.

    摘要: It is aimed, for example, to reduce an amount of power consumption of an operation concerning data encryption or decryption and to make it difficult to perform a power analysis. In the case an exclusive OR operation between 32-bit input data and a 32-bit key is performed to obtain output data of 32 bits, the input data is kept in an input shift register 105 of 32 bits and the key is kept in a key shift register 106 of 32 bits. Then, 1 bit of the input data and 1 bit of the key are input into a serial operator 107, and an exclusive OR of 1 bit is obtained and shifted to the left end of the input shift register 105. The key shift register 106 performs a cyclic right shift. By performing the above thirty-two times, the operation of 32 bits is completed and the last result is kept in the input shift register 105.

For example, the liquid crystal panel is provided with red liquid crystal shutter element rows, green liquid crystal shutter element rows, and blue liquid crystal shutter element rows, each arrayed with m liquid crystal shutter elements in a direction perpendicular to a direction of conveyance of the photosensitive recording medium, these element rows being arranged repetitively in an appropriate order at constant pitch such that (n+2) rows are arranged in the direction of conveyance of the photosensitive recording medium. Exposure through the liquid crystal shutter elements is activated every time the photosensitive recording medium is conveyed by the same distance as the constant pitch.

    摘要: In a rewritable recording apparatus using a recording medium 1 having a recording layer which exhibits a color developing property when a first kind of heat energy is applied thereto and a tone reducing property when a second kind of heat energy is applied thereto, a recording-energisation control section 34 supplies an image recording signal corresponding to a desired display image to a heating device 3 to cause it to generate heat with the first kind of heat energy. This heating device 3 imparts the first kind of heat energy to the recording medium 1, whereby a desired display image is recorded on the recording medium 1. An erasure control section 35 supplies an image erasing signal corresponding to a desired erasing range to the heating device 3 so as to cause it to generate heat with the second kind of heat energy. This heating device 3 imparts the second kind of heat energy to the recording medium 1, whereby the image recorded on the recording medium 1 is erased.
