摘要: Processing circuitry receives a coded video bitstream comprising coded information of a current block in a current picture, the coded information is indicative of an AMVP-merge mode, the AMVP-merge mode uses a bi-directional predictor including an AMVP predictor in a first direction and a merge predictor in a second direction. The processing circuitry constructs an AMVP candidate list that includes a plurality of AMVP candidates for the AMVP predictor and constructs a merge candidate list that includes a plurality of merge candidates for the merge predictor. The merge candidate list includes an SbTMVP candidate. The processing circuitry determines the AMVP predictor from the AMVP candidate list, determines the merge predictor from the merge candidate list, and reconstructs the current block according to a combination of a first prediction according to the AMVP predictor in the first direction and a second prediction according to the merge predictor in the second direction.

摘要: Aspects of the disclosure include methods and an apparatus for video coding. The apparatus includes processing circuitry that receives coded information of a current block in a current picture. The current block is predicted based on a reference block in the current picture indicated by a block vector (BV) to be determined based on a BV predictor (BVP) and a BV difference (BVD). The processing circuitry determines a BVD list including BVD candidates based at least on BVD offsets from the BVP, determines the BVD from the BVD candidates in the BVD list, and reconstructs the current block using the BVD. For each adjacent pair of the BVD offsets, an initial interval size indicates a difference between the adjacent pair of the BVD offsets. Each of the initial interval sizes is different from other initial interval sizes corresponding to other adjacent pairs of the BVD offsets.

摘要: Aspects of the disclosure provide a method and an apparatus including processing circuitry that determines, based on a syntax element in a coded video bitstream, that a current block including a plurality of subblocks is coded in a subblock-based temporal motion vector prediction (SbTMVP) mode. Motion vector offset (MVO) information indicating an MVO is received. The MVO indicates a motion offset of a displacement vector (DV) used to adjust a location of a collocated block in a collocated reference picture. An updated DV of the current block is determined based on the DV and the MVO. SbTMVP information of a respective subblock in the plurality of subblocks is derived based on motion information of a corresponding subblock in the collocated block indicated by the updated DV. The plurality of subblocks in the SbTMVP mode is reconstructed based on the SbTMVP information of the subblock in the plurality of subblocks.

摘要: An example method of video decoding includes receiving video data that includes a current block from a video bitstream. The method also includes generating a subblock-based motion vector prediction (SbTMVP) for a subblock of the current block and generating a SbTMVP-MMVD candidate by applying a merge motion vector difference (MMVD) to the SbTMVP. In accordance with a determination that a motion vector (MV) of the SbTMVP-MMVD candidate meets one or more criteria, the SbTMVP-MMVD candidate is inserted into a candidate list for the current block. In accordance with a determination that the MV of the SbTMVP-MMVD candidate does not meet the one or more criteria, the SbTMVP-MMVD candidate is not inserted into the candidate list for the current block. The method further includes reconstructing the current block using the candidate list.

The apparatus includes processing circuitry configured to receive an image/video comprising one or more blocks and metadata for a machine task associated with the image/video. The metadata specifies neural network post-filtering characteristics for machine consumption. The processing circuitry decodes a first post-filtering parameter in the image/video corresponding to the one or more blocks to be reconstructed. The first post-filtering parameter applies to a block in the one or more blocks and has been updated by a post-filtering module in a post-filtering neural network (NN) that is trained based on a training dataset and the metadata. The processing circuitry determines the post-filtering NN in a video decoder corresponding to the one or more blocks based on the first post-filtering parameter, and decodes the block based on the determined post-filtering NN corresponding to the block and the metadata.

Transform coefficients of the current block are determined based on the determined one or more quantization step sizes. The current block is reconstructed based on the determined transform coefficients of the current block.

A context model is determined for a syntax element associated with a transform coefficient level of a first coefficient group (CG) in the current TB based on transform coefficient levels of at least one first neighboring CG of the first CG. The first CG is positioned on a first scanning line. The at least one first neighboring CG is positioned on a second scanning line that is scanned before the first scanning line. The context model is a probability model for a non-separable transform. The first CG is reconstructed based on the transform coefficient level that is determined according to the determined the context model.

摘要: Coding information is received and indicates that an intra block copy (IBC) mode is applied to a current block. Based on the IBC mode being applied to the current block, first adaptive block vector resolution (ABVR) information included in the coding information is obtained from the received video bitstream. The first ABVR information is determined to indicate that a plurality of BV precisions is associated with a block vector (BV) of the IBC mode. The plurality of BV precisions associated with the BV of the current block is reordered based on template matching (TM) differences between a template region of the current block and each of a plurality of template regions of reference blocks. A particular BV precision is selected from the plurality of reordered BV precisions by the TM differences. The current block is reconstructed based at least on the selected particular BV precision.

摘要: Processing circuitry determines a use of at least two prediction models on different samples in a current block. The processing circuitry generates predicted values of first samples in the current block according to a first prediction model and generates predicted values of second samples in the current block according to a second prediction model that is different from the first prediction model. The processing circuitry determines whether to apply a filter on a current sample in the current block based on whether one or more adjacent neighboring samples use a different prediction model from the current sample. Then, in response to a determination of applying the filter, the processing circuitry reconstructs the current sample based on a filtering output from the filter with predicted values of the current sample and the one or more adjacent neighboring samples being inputs of the filter.

The luma coding information indicates that the luma block is coded with a first coding mode using a first luma BV (an IBC mode or an IntraTMP mode) and a second coding mode. The processing circuitry derives a chroma BV of the chroma block based on a luma BV of the luma block and reconstructs the chroma block based on the chroma prediction mode including the first coding mode and the second coding mode.
