摘要: Disclosed are methods and apparatuses for decoding an image. A method includes receiving a bitstream obtained by encoding the image; dividing a first coding block into a plurality of second coding blocks; generating a prediction block of a second coding block based on syntax information obtained from the bitstream; and reconstructing the second coding block based on the prediction block and a residual block of the second coding block, the residual block being obtained by performing a dequantization and an inverse-transform on quantized transform coefficients from the bitstream. The first coding block has a recursive division structure. The first coding block is divided based on at least one of a quad tree division, a binary tree division or a triple tree division.

摘要: A conference gallery view intelligence system determines at least two regions of interest within a conference room based on an input video stream received from a video capture device located within the conference room. An output video stream for rendering within conferencing software is produced for each of the at least two regions of interest. The output video stream for each of the at least two regions of interest is then transmitted to one or more client devices connected to the conferencing software.

摘要: An encoder includes circuitry and memory coupled to the circuitry. In residual coding of a current block, the circuitry, in operation, encodes a subblock flag by Context-based Adaptive Binary Arithmetic Coding (CABAC) in both of a first type of residual coding where an orthogonal transform is performed and a second type of residual coding where the orthogonal transform is skipped, the subblock flag indicating whether a non-zero coefficient is included in a plurality of coefficients for a subblock within the current block, wherein a first syntax used for the first type of residual coding is different from a second syntax used for the second type of residual coding; and controls a number of CABAC processes, wherein the encoding of the subblock flag is not counted as the number of CABAC processes.

摘要: An apparatus receives a compressed bitstream including an encoded displacements bitstream and packing method information indicating whether the displacement component samples are packed in ascending order or in descending order. The apparatus video-decodes the encoded displacements bitstream to generate a displacement video frame, wherein padding is added at a bottom of the displacement video frame irrespective of whether the displacement component samples are packed in ascending order or in descending order. The apparatus image-unpacks the displacement video frame to generate an array of quantized displacement wavelet coefficients, inverse-quantizes the array of quantized displacement wavelet coefficients to generate displacement wavelet coefficients, and inverse-wavelet-transforms the displacement wavelet coefficients to generate displacement component samples.

摘要: A method and apparatus for video coding system that utilizes low-latency template-matching motion-vector refinement are disclosed. According to this method, a current template for the current block is determined, where at least one of current above template and current left template is removed or is located away from a respective above edge or a respective left edge of the current block and the current template is generated using reconstructed samples. Candidate reference templates, corresponding to the current template at respective candidate locations, associated with the current block at a set of candidate locations in a reference picture are determined. A location of a target reference template among the candidate reference templates is determined, where the target reference template achieves a best match with the current template. A refined motion vector (MV) is determined by refining an initial MV according to the location of the target reference template.

摘要: A method performed by a video decoder includes receiving a coded video bitstream that includes a current picture with at least one block located at a boundary of the current picture. The method includes determining whether boundary filtering is enabled for the at least one block based on a syntax element in the received coded video stream. The method further includes, based on a determination that the boundary filtering is enabled: filtering one or more boundary samples corresponding to the at least one block to generate one or more filtered samples, and decoding the at least one block based on the generated one or more filtered samples. The method further includes based on a determination that the boundary filtering is not enabled, decoding the at least one block without filtering the one or more boundary samples.

The system may receive a video bitstream comprising a picture having a header and may receive data specifying a structure of the picture. The system may parse the data specifying the structure of the picture for an identifier corresponding to a defined rectangular area in the first picture and for a tile index of a top left tile in the defined rectangular area. The system may determine one or more tiles comprised in the defined rectangular area based on the identifier corresponding to the defined rectangular area and the tile index of the top left tile. The system may reconstruct the picture including a sub-picture that comprises the defined rectangular area based upon the identifier corresponding to the defined rectangular area. The computing system may render the sub-picture in the defined rectangular area.
