Abstract: An actuation system for passenger seating has a first actuating member for actuating a door from an open state to a closed state, and a second actuating assembly for actuating the door from the closed state to the open state. The first actuating member may be a spring configured to allow movement of the door from the closed state to the open state. The second actuating assembly is power-operated. The actuation system allows the door to be opened and closed automatically by the user while still being operable manually.

Abstract: An upholstered panel assembly includes an upholstery component having a foam layer provided on a substrate layer. The upholstery component covers the face of a base structure and is retained releasably by clips. The clips extend along the edges of the panel assembly. The panel assembly may be particularly suitable for aircraft cabins.

Abstract: An actuation system for passenger seating has first actuating means for actuating a door from an open state to a closed state, and second actuating means for actuating the door from the closed state to the open state.
