摘要: A ventilated molded seat trim cover for a vehicle seat and a ventilated vehicle seat having a ventilated molded seat trim cover, comprising a stacked assembly of an upper textile layer, a first adhesive layer, an air permeable polyurethane cellular foam interlayer thermo-moldable at temperatures between about 104° C. and about 127° C., a second adhesive layer, a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) film, a third adhesive layer, and a scrim backing layer. The stacked assembly is compression molded in a 3-dimensional mold while at least a portion of the foam interlayer is heated to a temperature between about 104° C. and about 127° C. to form the ventilated molded seat trim cover. The TPU film prevents airflow passing through a bottom surface of the seat trim cover. Airflow in the foam interlayer can pass through the upper textile layer.

摘要: According to one aspect of the present invention, provided is a method of attaching an emblem to a vehicle seat, the method including providing a seat and an emblem, the seat having an outer surface on which a coating layer is formed, removing the coating layer to correspond to an edge of the emblem, aligning the emblem with the seat to correspond to a portion in which the coating layer is removed, and attaching the emblem to the seat by pressing the emblem using a mold unit and applying a high-frequency current.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for creating a motor vehicle seat cushion. The inventive method provides for a cover having a format of a complex comprising a layer of covering material and a sublayer of elastically compressible foam, and for arranging on the sublayer a film based on thermoplastic polyurethane. The film has a melting point and a melt mass-flow index that breaks down under the action of the heat released during the formation of the foam. The film is provided with a reinforcing thin-film to form a two-layer barrier against the penetration of foam. The reinforcing thin-film is based on a thermoplastic polyurethane with a melting point higher than that of the film and has a melt mass-flow index lower than that of the film, to have greater strength than the film so that the reinforcing thin-film breakdown under the action of heat is delayed.

The sealing of the core material and the skin material with the sealing part includes sealing the core material and the skin material so that the sealing part includes a self sealing part for which an edge part of the skin material is housed in a recess provided in the core material, a clamp sealing part sealed by clamping the core material and the edge part of the skin material by foam molding molds, and a crimp sealing part arranged in a switchover part between the clamp sealing part and the self sealing part, and sealed by crimping the edge part of the skin material to the core material.

摘要: A trim component for vehicle interior is disclosed. A method for forming the trim component is also disclosed. The trim component comprises a cover material, a base layer, a foamed plastic, and a support element. The base layer is intended to prevent foamed plastic from penetrating into the pores of the cover material. Foamed plastic is injected between the base layer and the support element to form the trim component. The method comprises the steps of producing a base layer, applying and fixing at least part of the cover material to the base layer to form a pre-laminate, introducing the pre-laminate into a foaming mold with the base layer between the cover material and a foam chamber (between the pre-laminate and the support element) within a foaming mold and introducing foamed plastic into the foam chamber to form the trim component.

摘要: According to a method of the present invention for treating a terminal portion of an interior part for a vehicle, the terminal portion is stably maintained in a folded state by being welded firmly and deformation is constrained.
In a heating step, in a state where distal end edges of heat shield panels 30A and 30B are abutted against a boundary between a terminal portion 4 and an adjacent portion 5 of a peripheral edge portion 3 of an opening of a roof trim 1 for a sunroof, hot-air is provided toward a back surface of the terminal portion 4 from hot-air nozzles 40A and 40B, thereby softening the terminal portion 4 and melting the back surface of the terminal portion 4. In a folding-back step, the terminal portion 4 is folded back by pressing members 50A and 50B at the distal end edges of the heat shield panels 30A and 30B and then pressed against the adjacent portion 5, thereby welding the back surface of the terminal portion 4 to a back surface of the adjacent portion 5. A ventilation opening 32a is formed in the heat shield panel 30A disposed at a corner portion. In the heating step, a portion of the hot-air from the hot-air nozzle 40A is guided to the adjacent portion 5 through the ventilation opening 32a to heat the adjacent portion 5.-
