In addition, an object of the present invention is to provide food and a medicament, comprising the above-mentioned composition, having an effect for promoting sleep for an individual having sleep disorders. Further, an object of the present invention is to provide a method for promoting sleep comprising administering theanine to an individual having sleep disorders, and use of theanine for preparation of the food or medicament for an individual having sleep disorders.

    摘要： A method for efficiently producing theanine is provided, wherein glutamine and ethylamine are reacted byPseudomonas citronellosis GEA FERM BP-8353, which is newly separated/selected from natural soil, belongs to the genus, Pseudomonas, and the species citronellosis and is a theanine producing bacteria with activities of transferring the γ-glutamyl group. Theanine production increased by four times by using glutaminase derived from the bacteria in a mixture of glutamine and ethylamine at a pH in a range of 9-12 in comparison with conventional methods.

    摘要： To provide a producibility improver for poultry, comprising a polymannose having a molecular weight distribution in which a polymannose having the molecular weights ranging from 1.8×103 to 1.8×105 accounts for 70% or more; the producibility improver for poultry further comprising a polyphenol compound; the producibility improver for poultry further comprising a delipidated rice bran; and a method of improving producibility for laying hens or edible chicken, using any one of the producibility improvers. According to the present invention, the improvement of producibility for poultry can be made at low costs.
