摘要: The present disclosure provides a method of forming a toner image, comprising: electrically charging a photoreceptor by a charging roller being brought into contact with the photoreceptor, the photoreceptor comprises a photosensitive coating layer on a cylindrical conductive substrate; correcting line width variation using an exposure adjustment calculation (y); and, wherein the exposure adjustment calculation uses a factor based on a ratio (m) of a coefficient of line width variation due to toner age divided by the coefficient of line width variation due to laser power.

摘要: Line width of images marked by an image marking device is adjusted by reading a calibration patch marked by the marking device, and then adjusting one or more settings of the marking device, such as exposure intensity or cleaning field intensity, independent of the digital control of the tone reproduction curve so that the line width of subsequently marked images becomes closer to a target value. A digital control may be implemented to compensate for the impact of the modification of the one or more settings on the tone reproduction curve.

摘要: An active stack height sensing mechanism that operates through a cam off a disc stacker which performs one cycle per sheet stacked. After a sheet is stacked, a stack height clamp contacts the stack and stops. If the stack height is too low or within a predetermined range, a flag attached to the clamp will block a light beam path between an emitter and receiver and trip the stack height sensor. If the stack height is too high, the stack height sensor will not be made indicating that the stacker should be indexed down.
