摘要： A surface-condition-information obtaining unit obtains information on a surface condition of a rewritable display medium on which information is reversely displayed visually. A write-laser output unit outputs a write laser to irradiate the rewritable display medium with the write laser, to perform a drawing on the rewritable display medium. A control unit performs a write process for displaying an image on the rewritable display medium by adjusting a laser output condition based on the information obtained by the surface-condition-information obtaining unit and controlling the write-laser output unit based on an adjustment of the laser output condition.

摘要： A surface-condition-information obtaining unit obtains information on a surface condition of a rewritable display medium on which information is reversely displayed visually. A write-laser output unit outputs a write laser to irradiate the rewritable display medium with the write laser, to perform a drawing on the rewritable display medium. 摘要： An output requesting apparatus is connected via a network to an output apparatus and a position-management server. In the output requesting apparatus, a receiving unit receives, from the position-management server, user-position information, apparatus-position information, and a map image. Based on the user-position information and the apparatus-position information, a display control unit arranges a user symbol, an apparatus symbol, and a data symbol in the map image to display the map image. An input unit receives input to select the user symbol, the apparatus symbol, and the data symbol. A transmitting unit transmits, to the output apparatus corresponding to the apparatus symbol, a command to output data corresponding to the data symbol, and information including identification information of a user corresponding to the user symbol.

摘要： An output device, such as a multifunction peripheral, prints data transmitted from a portable terminal device via contactless communication in such a manner as to prevent leakage of the data from a medium on which the data is printed, while the convenience of outputting data via wireless communication is maintained. A multifunction peripheral includes plural communication units having different communication areas. A determination unit of the multifunction peripheral identifies one of the communication units that receives the data from the portable terminal device. Based on the type of the identified communication unit, such as a Bluetooth communication unit, it is determined whether the portable terminal device is within a predetermined communication area. When the portable terminal device is within the predetermined communication area, a granting unit grants output of the received data from the output device.

摘要： A position management server detects positions of a user based on a signal from an RFID tag carried by the user. A PC displays, on a monitor, map information including a layout of the user and a plurality of printers. The user drags and drops a file icon onto a printer icon corresponding to a printer used for printing. The PC transmits a file corresponding to the file icon, printer identification information, and PC identification information to a printer management server. The printer management server selects a driver, generates print data, and transmits the print data to the printer together with the PC identification information. The printer prints the print data and transmits a print notification to the PC. The PC displays the print notification on the monitor.
