Abstract: Provided is a binder composition for an electrical storage device that can both ensure stability of a slurry composition and enhance peel strength of an electrode and rate characteristics of an electrical storage device. The binder composition contains a particulate polymer. The particulate polymer includes a cyano group-containing monomer unit in a proportion of not less than 5 mass % and not more than 45 mass % and includes an amide group-containing monomer unit in a proportion of not less than 0.3 mass % and not more than 10 mass %. Moreover, the particulate polymer has a core-shell structure including a core portion and a shell portion at least partially covering an outer surface of the core portion, and has at least one glass-transition temperature at 10° C. or lower.

Abstract: Disclosed is a composition for non-aqueous secondary battery adhesive layer which comprises organic particles and a binder, wherein the organic particles comprise molecules having a weight-average molecular weight of 100 to 10,000, and a weight fraction of the molecules in the organic particles is 1% to 40%. Also disclosed is a non-aqueous secondary battery adhesive layer prepared by using the composition. Further disclosed is a non-aqueous secondary battery which comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator, and an electrolysis solution, wherein at least one of the positive electrode, the negative electrode and the separator comprises the non-aqueous secondary battery adhesive layer.

Abstract: Provided is a composition for a non-aqueous secondary battery functional layer that inhibits cissing in thin film application and enables formation of a functional layer that does not excessively increase the amount of metal deposited on an electrode during secondary battery charging. The composition for a functional layer contains organic particles, a binder, a wetting agent, and water. Content of the wetting agent is more than 1 part by mass and not more than 5 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the organic particles.
