Abstract:
In various embodiments, a data. storage system maintains a data store for a plurality of groups of users, where the data store includes a first section that is accessible by a first group of users, but not a second group of users, via the data storage system. In response to receiving, from a first user of the first group of users, a request to share data with the second group of users, the data storage system sends a request to a second user of the second group of users. Subsequent to receiving an acceptance from the second user, the data is stored in a second object in a second section of the data store that is accessible by the second group of users, but not the first group of users, via the data storage system.
Abstract:
In accordance with embodiments, there are provided mechanisms and methods for sharing tenant information utilizing a multi-tenant on-demand database service. These mechanisms and methods for sharing tenant information utilizing a multi-tenant on-demand database service can allow automatic sharing of information owned by a first tenant with other tenants of the multi-tenant on-demand database service. In this way, collaboration among tenants of the multi-tenant on-demand database service may be enabled via the sharing of the tenant information.

Abstract:
In an embodiment, a method includes maintaining, by a web-based online data storage system, a data store separating first data that is accessible by a first group of users from second data that is accessible by a second group of users. A first data object of the first data is stored and is specified to be made accessible by the second group of users. Access to the first data object for the second group of users is confirmed and a first copy of the first data object is generated in the second data of the data store, accessible by the second group of users. A first change is applied to the first data object in the data store originating from the first group of users, and the first change is synchronized to the first copy in the second data.
Abstract:
A processor can determine that a set of the memory cells is controlled by signals from a first portal. The processor can determine a function of a second portal in a relationship between the first portal and the second portal. The processor can cause, in response to a determination that the function of the second portal is a specific function, a memory control circuitry to be configured so that a subset, of the set, is controlled also by signals from the second portal. The processor can determine a function of a third portal in a relationship between the first portal and the third portal. The processor can cause, in response to a determination that the function of the third portal is the specific function, the memory control circuitry to be configured so that the subset, of the set, is controlled also by signals from the third portal.

Abstract:
Method and systems for sharing product data involved in a supply chain among a plurality of subscribers to an on-demand database is described. Data related to a product is received from a first subscriber and stored into a first section of the on-demand database reserved for the first subscriber. The first subscriber then communicates a request to share the product data with one or more second subscribers. Once the first subscriber receives an acceptance from the one or more second subscribers, the product data is stored in a second section of the on-demand database reserved for the second subscriber. Changes made to the data associated with the product are synchronized between the two subscribers.

Abstract:
Disclosed are examples of systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer program products for dynamic traffic throttling. A server system can receive, via an edge worker associated with a content delivery network (CDN), a first set of requests to access a first site. The server system can determine that traffic to the first site is to be throttled. The server system can determine a throttling rate. The server system can transmit instructions to the edge worker, the instructions configured to cause the edge worker to direct at least a portion of a second set of requests to access the first site to a waiting room site prior to being directed to the first site, the direction of the at least the portion of the second set of requests to the waiting room site being subject to the throttling rate.
