Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for updating resource allocation in a distributed network. For example, the method may comprise allocating a plurality of resource containers in a distributed network in accordance with a first distributed resource configuration. Upon determining that a processing workload value exceeds a stabilization threshold of the distributed network, determining a resource efficiency value of the plurality of resource containers in the distributed network. When a resource efficiency value is greater than or equal to the threshold resource efficiency value, the method may generate a second distributed resource configuration that includes a resource upscaling process, or when the resource efficiency value is less than the threshold resource efficiency value, the method may generate the second distributed resource configuration that includes a resource outscaling process. The resource allocation may transmit the second to update the resource allocation.

Abstract: Next generation network architectures enable instantiation of network slices in which traffic may be transported via one or more virtual networks overlaying the physical network infrastructure. To enable a slice management system to be able to obtain information on virtual networks of instantiated network slices, such as utilization data indicative of at least one of: a bandwidth capacity, computing capacity and storage capacity of one or more physical links via which traffic of the virtual networks is routed, an interfacing system is provided. The interfacing system may establish an interface between the slice management system operating in the domain of network slices and the network management system operating in the domain of physical network equipment, and thereby enable the slice management system to take into account such utilization data in its slice management operation.

Abstract: A disclosed method may include (1) identifying a route installed in a Forwarding Information Base (FIB) of a network device included in a network, (2) identifying a plurality of active paths that lead from the network device to a destination device of the route installed in the FIB, (3) determining a load distribution of the plurality of active paths by calculating a plurality of traffic loads that represent amounts of traffic that traverse from the network device to the destination device via the plurality of active paths, and (4) making a trafficking decision in connection with the plurality of active paths based at least in part on the load distribution of the plurality of active paths. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless communications entity, such as a user equipment (UE), a base station, a network core, or an application server, may identify a round-trip time (RTT) latency requirement that may pertain to a round-trip latency in wireless communications between the UE and the base station. The wireless communications entity may identify a one one-way directional delay budget that satisfies the RTT latency requirement for an application of an application server. The application server may be in communication with the UE via the base station. The wireless communications entity may modify a value of the one-way directional delay budget and transmit a message that is associated with the modified value of the one one-way directional delay budget.

Abstract: Techniques are generally described for remote estimation of bandwidth. In various examples, a video stream may be received at a first bit rate over a first communication channel. A first value of a network condition of the video stream may be determined over a first time period. A determination may be made that the first value is less than a threshold value. A first bandwidth estimate of the communication channel may be determined. The first bandwidth estimate may comprise the first bit rate reduced by a first percentage. A second value of the network condition may be determined over a second time period. A determination may be made that the second value is greater than the threshold value. A second bandwidth estimate of the communication channel may be determined. The second bandwidth estimate may be less than the first bandwidth estimate.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses enable one or more security microservices to resolve the disparate impact of security exploits to resources within a resource group. When a resource group is determined to be impacted by a security exploit, the one or more security microservices determines whether the members of the resource group are disparately impacted. In response, the one or more security microservices splits the resource group into an impacted resource group and a non-impacted resource group and applies exploit mitigation to the resource group members in the impacted resource group. When the one or more security microservices determine that the resource group members of the split resource group are no longer disparately impacted, the one or more security microservices combine the impacted resource group and the non-impacted resource group back into a single resource group.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes receiving, from a client system of a user, a user input comprising a plurality of n-grams, parsing the user input to identify one or more overall intents, hidden intents, and slots associated with the one or more n-grams, wherein at least one of the hidden intents is non-resolvable for being associated with partial slot information corresponding to an n-gram that has not been resolved to a particular entity identifier, wherein the partial slot information is associated with two more entity identifiers of two or more entities, respectively, sending, to the client system, instructions for prompting the user to select one of the entities to be associated with the non-resolvable hidden intent, resolving the non-resolvable hidden intent based on the entity identifier of the entity selected by the user, and generating a response to the user input based on the resolved hidden intent.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to measuring and managing data traffic in one or more networks. In some embodiments, a monitor may measure the traffic at one or more locations within the network(s) or devices associated therewith to determine whether the traffic exceeds a threshold. When the traffic exceeds the threshold, one or more actions may be taken, such as issuing or transmitting a command or directive. The command or directive may advise a device or an application to throttle or reduce an input or stimulus responsible for generating the traffic. In some embodiments, a throttling may be effectuated to reduce the data traffic.
