摘要： An oral fluid delivery device includes a housing forming at least one cavity. The cavity includes at least two reservoirs, a first reservoir and a second reservoir. The device also includes an elongated neck with a distal end having at least one distal opening for passage of a fluid, a proximal end, and a channel fluidly connected to the distal opening. The device also includes a cap at the proximal end of the elongated neck. The cap includes at least one aperture aligned with the channel of the elongated neck and is rotatably coupled to the housing such that rotating the cap relative to the housing selectively aligns the aperture with a first reservoir opening to provide fluid communication between the first reservoir and the channel, or aligns the aperture with a second reservoir opening to provide fluid communication between the second reservoir and the channel.

摘要： A toothbrush includes a brush head having a capsule receiving zone sized to receive a dentrifice capsule. A plurality angled bristles may retain the capsule in such zone. Loading of such toothbrush with a capsule may be performed with a dispenser including a toothbrush manipulation element adapted to move a retention structure associated with the brush head, and dispensation element adapted to deliver the capsule into the receiving zone. Such dispenser may include a desiccant material disposed to receive moisture from a capsule storage container. A dispenser may further include a plurality of toothbrush insertion apertures each adapted to receive a portion of a different toothbrush, so as to enable multiple users each having different toothbrushes to use the same dispenser without requiring contact between multiple brushes and single capsule interface surface of the dispenser.

The ampoule receptacle is capable of holding the cleaning ampoule while the cleaning material is dispensed to the working surface from the cleaning ampoule.

In one embodiment, the cavity incorporates an active substance element, which contains the active substance in a carrier material and releases said substance in a controlled manner when it comes into contact with water. In another embodiment, the cavity is adapted to the shape of an active substance element by means of defined external contours. The volume of the cavity is preferably 1-2 times and no more than 4 times greater than the volume of the active substance element, ensuring that the latter is preferably surrounded by water during use. This allows the active substance to be effectively metered and ensures the brush is easy to use.

摘要： The inventive applicator has a pliable plastic tube for holding a hermetically sealed crushable glass ampoule containing fluid to be dispensed from the applicator and applied by the applicator to a surface, and a pliable dispensing member mounted onto the plastic tube. The dispensing member has a dauber from which the fluid is dispensed and a protective device which surrounds a portion of the tube and is squeezed inwardly between the user's forefinger and thumb to cause the portion of the tube positioned thereunder to deform inwardly and crush the crushable glass ampoule positioned within the tube to release the fluid contained within the ampoule. The protective device guards against and minimizes the chances of users being cut by glass shards of the crushed glass ampoule when the protective device is subsequently squeezed inwardly to cause the fluid to move through the applicator to the dauber.

摘要： An oral care system and method wherein a dispenser is mounted to the handle of an oral care implement. The dispenser holds an oral care material and is alterable between a storage state wherein a dispensing end of the dispenser nests within the handle and an application state wherein the dispensing end of the dispenser is un-nested and exposed for oral care use. In one aspect, the invention is an oral care system comprising: an oral care implement comprising a head, a handle having a longitudinal axis, and one or more oral surface engaging elements; a dispenser having a reservoir containing an oral care material and an applicator for dispensing the oral care material; the dispenser alterable between: (i) a storage state wherein the applicator is nested within the handle; and (ii) an application state wherein the applicator is un-nested from the handle and exposed for oral care use.
