摘要: A multi-port valve includes a valve housing and a valve core. The valve housing comprises a cylindrical main body defining an inner cavity to rotatably accommodate the valve core and a plurality of ports in fluid communication with the inner cavity. The valve core defines a plurality of flow channels, each extending through a sidewall of the valve core to form two opposite open ends. The valve housing is provided with a guider passage, and the plurality of flow channels include a first flow channel, a second flow channel and a third flow channel. The multi-port valve is operable to be switched between a plurality of work modes in response to the valve core rotating to different positions relative to the valve housing. The first flow channel is connected in series with the second flow channel via the guide passage in response to a first work mode of the plurality of work modes. The first flow channel is connected in series with the third flow channel via the guide passage in response to a second work mode of the plurality of work modes.

摘要: This disclosure sets out an apparatus for handling fluid, such as coolant, for a vehicle that is at least partially powered by electricity. The apparatus includes a substantially plate-shaped base element defining a base plane separating a first subspace from a second subspace. At least a first fluid flow channel section is also present and is largely located in the first subspace. At least one second fluid flow channel section is also present and is largely located in the second subspace. The base element includes at least one first flow-through opening fluidly connecting the first fluid flow channel section and the second fluid flow channel section. A method of manufacturing the apparatus is also disclosed. The method includes the steps of providing the base element with at least a first fluid flow channel section and a first flow-through opening.

摘要: A rotary valve includes a rotary valve body defining a passageway from a first passageway port at an axial end surface of the rotary valve body to a second passageway port at an outer circumferential surface thereof. A valve housing has an inner surface defining each of an opening rotatably receiving the rotary valve body therein, a first housing port through which a fluid flows transverse to the axis of rotation of the rotary valve body, and a second housing port through which the fluid flows transverse to the axis of rotation of the rotary valve body. A flow path is formed between the inner surface of the valve housing and the outer surface of the rotary valve body with the flow path providing fluid communication between the first housing port of the valve housing and the first passageway port of the rotary valve housing.
