摘要: An electrolytic ozone generator includes an anode with a longitudinal edge, a cathode with a longitudinal edge spaced apart from the cathode, and an isolator. The isolator electrically separates the cathode from the anode and is semi-impermeable. The anode and cathode are impermeable for generating ozone in a flow area fluidly coupling longitudinal edges of the anode and the cathode. Ozone water apparatus, methods of making electrolytic ozone generators, and methods of generating ozone using electrolytic ozone generators are also described.

摘要: A method and apparatus for the removal of both suspended and dissolved contaminants in a fluid stream, including but not limited to heavy metals, organics, inorganics, hydrocarbons and others. The method combines passing an aqueous fluid stream through an electromagnetic field, an ozone/oxygen venturi injector for oxidation and through a horizontal flow and vertical fall within a horizontal plate maze unit of alternately electrically charged plates. The plates are charged alternately to be cathodes and anodes, respectively. A framework to mount and support membranes, dividers or separators, as may be required to enhance special treatment of the fluid stream, is optionally provided.

摘要: Contaminants are removed from untreated raw water or discharge water by applying direct current through an array of spaced, alternately charged electrodes positioned within and electrically isolated from a housing to eliminate or minimize clogging of the electrodes with precipitated contaminants. The housing is surrounded with container structure that cooperates with the housing to define an inlet chamber positioned between the source of untreated water and the housing containing the spaced array of electrodes. The container structure further includes an outlet chamber defined between the housing and the container structure for accumulating and draining water treated by the spaced electrode array.

摘要: A heat exchanger includes an electrolytic bath and a control section. The electrolytic bath has first and second channels. A first fluid can flow through the first channel. A second fluid adapted to exchange heat with the first fluid can flow through the second channel. At least part of the first and second channels of the electrolytic bath is partitioned by anode and cathode plates to which a given potential is applied from a power source. The control section applies the given potential to the anode and cathode plates and performs polarity reversal adapted to reverse the polarity of the anode and cathode plates after having applied the given potential at given time intervals.

摘要: A gravity flow runoff water purification system is provided. The gravity flow runoff water purification system of the present invention includes a debris filter, a grit chamber, and a linear electrolytic reactor. The linear electrolytic reactor includes a plurality of cell chambers separated by at least one fixed electrode plate operable to receive a current. A bi-polar anode blend is disposed at the bottom of each chamber and is charged by the at least one electrode plate using a VLF AC current in order to prevent plating over of fixed electrodes. The blend includes a conductive and consumable metal fraction, a conductive and non-consumable fraction, and a non-conductive pours spacer. Water runs through the debris filter, through the grit chamber and into the linear electrolytic reactor via gravity. The water flows through each of the cell chambers, thereby clarifying and purifying the water.
