摘要： A lottery ticket dispenser bin includes a housing for receipt of a supply of interconnected lottery tickets. An electronic drive mechanism in the housing moves the tickets in a forward and reverse direction. A scanner is disposed within the housing at a location to detect a forward edge of a leading lottery ticket in the housing. A controller is in communication with the scanner and the electronic drive mechanism and controls the drive mechanism so that subsequent to the leading lottery ticket being dispensed out the slot, power is supplied to drive mechanism to generate a retarding reverse direction torque by a drive roller on an adjacent lottery ticket for a predetermined time period without reversing direction of the drive roller.

摘要： Systems and methods for printing various length adhesive labels using continuous adhesive label stock and a mechanical cutter that eliminates problems associated with the build up of adhesive on the cutter blade are provided. A continuous label stock includes regions where adhesive is provided interspersed with regions where there is no adhesive provided. After printing has occurred, the continuous label stock is fed to a mechanical cutter that separates the printed label from the continuous label stock by cutting through a region where there is no adhesive provided. As such, no adhesive will be transferred to the cutter blade, thereby removing any possibility of a build up of adhesive on the cutter blade. Since there will not be any build up of adhesive on the cutter blade, problems associated with the build up of adhesive on the cutter blade are eliminated.

摘要： An improved ticket dispensing apparatus to efficiently and expeditiously control the separation and dispensing of tickets from a continuous strip of tickets. Once a ticket selection is made, a control circuit activates the dispensing mechanism for dispensing the selected number of tickets. The strip of tickets is drawn into engagement with a pair of drive rollers and forced into engagement with a downstream deflector plate. Once a measured and predetermined ticket length has been met, the direction of movement for the drive rollers is reversed and a unidirectional clutch engaged. The clutch rotates a deflector plate used to force the strip of tickets into engagement with a stationary cutting blade along a perforated line scored in the ticket strip so that the desired number of tickets are separated from the ticket strip.

摘要： An improved coupon dispenser device is disclosed comprising an outer box having a sloped front end with rectangular opening therein, a channeled inner sleeve longitudinally extending through the outer box, and a curved, spring-loaded pusher member therein contained and directed to urge a stack of folded coupon sheets axially through the sleeve and to the opening in the outer box in a deflected manner. The inner sleeve is constructed having channeled top and bottom wall surfaces substantially saw-tooth in their configuration and further formed having a sloped profile at its open front end conforming with the sloped front end of the outer box. The sloped front end of the outer box is formed in two divergent planes established by separate top and bottom panels positioned on either side of the opening so that the outermost coupon sheet is delivered at the opening with its leading flap extending therefrom in a position of easy retrieval for the consumer. The coupon dispenser device may be mounted upon a store shelf or other like surface using conventional means.
