摘要: A printer has first and second print sections 100, 200 joined along a line 12, and a controller 50. Each section contains a printhead 120; 220 travelling on a track 110; 210. A frame or frame part 104 supports the track and is driven on wheels by a motor, so that the printer can travel autonomously along a horizontally extending step edge, printing as it goes. It further includes a sensor for detecting the proximity of the vertical face 5v of the step. The printer can thus be set to print advertising, for instance, on the steps of a stadium.

摘要: A printing device comprising a printing head including a plurality of nozzles configured to discharge ink to a printing medium are arranged, and a control unit configured to control discharge of the ink. The printing head is configured to discharge the ink along with scanning that is a relative movement in a predetermined direction with respect to the printing medium, and in test printing for printing a TP on the printing medium, the control unit performs control such that the ink of a first discharge amount is discharged from the nozzles when a color difference between the TP and the printing medium is greater than a predetermined threshold value, and the ink of a second discharge amount that is greater than the first discharge amount is discharged when the color difference between the TP and the printing medium is equal to or smaller than the threshold value.

摘要: A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing computer readable instructions executable by a computer is provided. The computer readable instructions cause the computer to obtain subject image data composing a subject image, set larger regions and smaller regions in each of the larger regions in the subject image, calculate a first feature amount of each of the smaller regions with use of values of pixels in each of the smaller regions and a second feature amount of each of the larger regions with use of values of pixels in each of the larger regions, determine whether each of the smaller regions is an edge region including an edge based on a comparison between the first feature amount and the second feature amount, and generate edge image data indicating edges in the subject image with use of results of the determination whether each of the smaller regions is an edge region.

摘要: Provided is a technique that enables proper sorting of discharged print media by suppressing curling of each of the print media sufficiently. A determining unit determines a curling suppressing operation to be executed such that in a case where sorting operation is executed, the suppressing operation having a higher effect of suppressing curling is executed than in a case where the sorting operation is executed. Then, a print control unit controls a print head to perform printing on print media while executing the suppressing operation determined by the determining unit.
