    摘要: A motor driving system includes a power supply unit, a voltage-stabilizing unit, a signal-generating unit, a comparing unit, and a control unit. The power supply unit provides an input supply voltage to each other unit in the system. The voltage-stabilizing unit includes a voltage-stabilizing element and produces a constant voltage. The signal-generating unit generates an input signal, which varies with high and low levels of the input supply voltage. The comparing unit compares the constant voltage with the input signal to generate a comparison signal. The control unit controls a motor's rotating speed according to the comparison signal generated by the comparing unit. When the input supply voltage is low, a lowest rotating speed is set for the control unit to control the rotating of the motor.

The system comprises a drive voltage regulation circuit, a current detection circuit which generates a detection signal in accordance with motor current, a voltage detection circuit which generates a detection signal in accordance with motor voltage, and a speed control circuit which controls the drive voltage regulation circuit in accordance with the detection signals of both detection circuits. With this system, the detection signal of the current detection circuit is positive-fed back, and the detection signal of the voltage detection circuit is negative-fed back to the speed control circuit to keep motor speed constant by effectively coping with abrupt load fluctuation.

    摘要: A motor speed control device for a small DC motor in which the speed of rotation of the motor is maintained stable during ambient temperature changes and changes in the load applied to the motor. A temperature compensation resistor is coupled in series with a voltage divider circuit and the combination thereof coupled across the motor. A motor control circuit is provided having first through fourth control terminals. The first control terminal is coupled to the junction between the temperature compensation resistor and the voltage divider circuit, the second control terminal to the voltage division point, the third control terminal to the junction between the voltage divider circuit and the motor, and the fourth control terminal is coupled to ground. The motor control circuit includes an error detecting circuit having inputs coupled to the first and second control terminals with a voltage reference source coupled in series with the first input terminal to the error detecting circuit. The output of the error detecting circuit drives both shunt transistors coupled between the first and fourth control terminals and a drive transistor means coupled between the first and fourth control terminals.

    摘要: A manually rotatable control knob is coupled to a d.c. ironless motor which maintains rotation of the knob once it is initially spun by hand. The initial back e.m.f. of the motor is sensed and is used via a feedback loop having a particular time constant to determine the subsequent rotational speed of the knob. By correctly profiling the time constant the inertial effect of a heavy flywheel can be simulated.

    摘要: There is disclosed a motor speed control circuit for use in battery-powered tape recorders, tape players and record players in which the motor speed is made independent of power supply voltage swings, temperature and loading. The circuit is comprised of three sections including a discriminator-comparator section, a protection circuit and an output circuit. The discriminator-comparator circuit provides that the control signal to the motor be independent of power supply variations. A tachometer signal of an AC nature is coupled into the discriminator-comparator circuit which generates a pulsed current. The number of current pulses generated over a given time interval corresponds to the frequency of the tachometer signal. These pulses are subtracted from a reference current which difference is integrated, with the integrated current difference indicating the difference in speed of the motor between the desired speed and the actual speed. The tachometer signal is fed directly to the discriminator-comparator without the necessity of providing pulse-shaping circuits. The output circuit converts this difference current to a variable voltage across the motor to control its speed. This conversion from a current drive to a voltage drive is accomplished in a common-emitter configuration such that the drive circuitry does not drop the voltage applied to the motor by any significant extent. The protection circuit utilizes current-limiting circuitry which is independent of supply voltage to provide overload protection and also to prevent overheating of the motor speed control circuit by limiting the current to the circuit either during overload or when a predetermined temperature has been exceeded.

    摘要: A series of electrical signals of a frequency directly proportional to the speed of a motor controlled by a speed control circuit of the type which completes an energizing circuit for the motor through the current carrying electrodes of a switching transistor is generated. These signals are employed to produce a direct current reference potential signal which increases rapidly in magnitude when the motor becomes stalled. The reference potential signal is applied across the series combination of a Zener diode and the base-emitter electrodes of an NPN transistor for supplying base-emitter drive current to the transistor when the potential level thereof reaches a magnitude equal to the inverse breakdown potential of the Zener diode. The collector-emitter electrodes of the NPN transistor are connected in circuit with the motor speed control circuit in such a manner that the control circuit switching transistor is maintained not conductive while base-emitter drive current is supplied to the NPN transistor.
