    摘要： A security safe that incorporates a cabinet (20) formed of sheetmetal, including a front (22) and a door jamb (30). A door (42) for the safe is also formed of sheetmetal and has a jamb stop (48), box section (50) with a front flange (52) into which a series of hinge knuckles (58) are formed. A continuous hinge leaf (60) is plug welded (62) to an inside surface of the cabinet front and a hinge pin (64) unites the knuckles to the hinge leaf. The cabinet door jamb hinge knuckles and hinge leaf extend continuously the full height of the door. The hinge combination is completely hidden within the cabinet forming a secure barrier, as no access to the hinge is provided from the outside, nor is it at all visible, even when the door is open. This arrangement forms a secure barrier preventing unauthorized entry and in the event the door is forcibly jimmied and bent inwardly, the hinge remains totally inaccessible. A second embodiment differs in that a complete separate continuous hinge is utilized, instead of the integral knuckles in the door front flange.

    摘要： A hinged structure comprises a forward body and a rear body each having a surface face and a channel. A first hinge link and a second hinge link are employed to pivotably and slideably connect the forward body and the rear body and to provide movement of the bodies between an open position and a closed position. The first hinge link has a fixed end pivotably affixed to the forward body and a sliding end pivotably and slideably affixed to the rear body. The second hinge link has a fixed end pivotably affixed to the rear body and a sliding end pivotably and slideably affixed to the forward body. The sliding ends of the hinge links are pivotably and slideably affixed to their respective bodies by a pin engaging a hinge slide fitted within the channel of the respective body. Means can be used to secure the rear body to the forward body when the hinge is in the closed position. The hinge structure is integrated into a standard ski construction by mechanically fastening a shear plate to the forward and rear bodies, and integrally laminating the shear plates to the ski.

The link and plates contain stop mechanisms which determine their respective limits of pivot. In addition, the hinge contains a means for restraining the rotation of only one of the mounting plates around its corresponding link arm to insure a pattern of motion that is always consistent, and allows for the hinge to be mounted with a very narrow gap between the members being joined. The hinge of the present invention can be variably constructed to conform to a number of alternative uses.

The block is joined to the mounting part by a screw element whose threaded shank is in engagement with a counter-thread in the block and is held in the mounting piece rotatably but undisplaceably in the longitudinal direction of the shank.
