    Abstract: A vehicle and a window assembly include a window movable between a closed and open position. The assembly includes an arm movable between a first and second position. The window is disposed in the closed position when the arm is in the first position and the window disposed in the open position when the arm is in the second position. The arm includes an extension fixed thereto such that the arm and the extension both move concurrently about a first pivot point. The assembly includes a connector coupled to the extension at a second pivot point. The arm is coupled to the window through the connector. The first and second pivot points are spaced from each other. The connector is coupled to the window such that movement of the arm moves the connector about the second pivot point which causes the window to move between the closed and open positions.

    Abstract: A drive device of a window positioning device positions a window of a vehicle to selectively cover a window opening. The drive device is operated by a control device. When the window is fully closed, the drive device is operated (a) in an opening direction and then (b) in a closing direction. The operation of the drive device is carried out depending on a drive parameter. In a), using a first value of the drive parameter, the drive device is brought into a first reduced load position, and in b), using a second value of the drive parameter, the drive device is brought into a second reduced load position in which the window positioning device is in a reduced load state. A control device and a window positioning device are used.

    Abstract: A magnetic levitation system for sliding door and window, includes at least a movable module for the lower part of the sliding door and window which includes one or more permanent magnets; several fixed modules for the lower part of the frame of the sliding door and window, which includes one or more electromagnets to produce a variable repulsive magnetic field of the magnetic field of said magnets of the movable module. It has the advantage of eliminating the friction, mechanical wear and noise associated to the sliding, allowing, when deactivated, a greater air and water tightness and terminal and acoustic insulation, allowing the electromagnetic closure or locking of the door and window, increasing the security, and as is a modular system its operation and construction are simpler and more economical.

    Abstract: A hinge apparatus has a first attachment member to be attached to a housing, a second attachment member to be attached to a door; and first and second links, respective basal end portions of the first and the second links rotatably attached to the first attachment member, respective distal end portions of the first and the second links rotatably attached to the second attachment member.
