    摘要: A system of safety devices is disclosed for use in connection with powered cutting tools, including but not limited to table saws, miter saws, jointers, shapers and routers. The devices include a right hand push device adapted to slide along the fence of a table saw, shaper, router or jointer, a dual bearing hold down device to secure a work piece in at least three directions and adapted for use with a table saw, shaper, router or jointer, an anti-kickback device to secure a work piece after a cut is made and while cutting continues and adapted for use with a table saw, shaper, router or jointer, a left hand hold down device for securing a work piece on the side of a cutting blade opposite that of a fence and adapted for use with a table saw, shaper, router or jointer, and a hold down device adapted for use with miter saws. Each of the devices, alone and in combination, protect the operator of the power tools from serious injury from the cutting tool and from work piece kickback.

    摘要: A dual adjustable feather jig for simultaneously holding a piece of wood stock firmly against a stationary rip fence and against the top surface of a worktable. The feather jig includes a lower feather board with a ‘T’ in channel bar adjustably mounted on the bottom surface of the lower feather board to laterally adjust the lower feather board over the worktable. Mounted transversely on the lower feather board is an upper feather board assembly that includes a vertical feather board to hold the wood piece against the worktable. The vertical feather board is connected to a slider arm that slides longitudinally over a riser block securely mounted to the lower feather board. Formed on the lateral and lower edges of the lower and vertical feather boards, respectively, are diagonally aligned fingers that press the wood piece against the rip fence and against the top surface of the worktable.

    摘要: The invention provides a slicing and conveying system that includes a slicing blade that cuts slices from a loaf, and an output conveyor located below the slicing blade for receiving the slices in a draft. A control system automatically adjusts a lateral movement of the output conveyor to form a laterally shingled draft of a consistent width in response to a sensed lateral dimension of the loaf being sliced. The control system includes a displacement sensor carried by a laterally adjustable guide assembly adjacent to the slicing blade. The displacement sensor is signal-connected to a control. The control is signal-connected to the output conveyor to control the lateral movement of the output conveyor according to the lateral dimension of the loaf sensed by the displacement sensor. As an additional aspect, the slices can be shingled in the longitudinal direction to form a two dimensional footprint. A length sensor can sense the length of the shingled draft and send a feedback signal to the control to make adjustments to the longitudinal movement of the output conveyor to adjust the degree of longitudinal shingling.

    摘要: An apparatus for separating a ribbon-coated multicore optical fiber at a plurality of positions at once, wherein the ribbon-coated multicore optical fiber includes a number of single-core fibers arranged in parallel. This apparatus comprises a first cutting member in which a plurality of sets of arc faces opposed to each other by way of a through path for inserting the ribbon-coated multicore optical fiber are disposed along the through path, while the arc faces in the respective sets extend from one side section of the through path halfway through the width direction of the through path; a second cutting member having a plurality of arc faces which continuously extend to and are adapted to join with the respective arc faces of the first cutting member in the width direction of the through path; and guide members which are respectively disposed at both end positions of the through path so as to position the ribbon-coated multicore optical fiber inserted into the through path. The first and second cutting members are movable relative to each other in the direction in which the arc faces are opposed to each other.
