    摘要: A tufting machine for selectively forming tufts of yarns, including different color or type yarns, for forming patterned tufted articles such as carpets. A series of needles are reciprocated into and out of a backing material being fed through the tufting machine and are engaged by a series of gauge parts so as to pick-up loops of yarns from the needles. The gauge parts will be selectively controlled by activators to move the gauge parts to positions or elevations sufficient to pick-up or not pick-up loops of yarns from the needles. The feeding of the yarns to the needles further will be controlled to pull back the yarns not picked-up by the gauge parts, while the backing feed will be controlled to enable formation of tufts at an increased rate over the pattern stitch rate for the pattern of the tufted article being formed.

    摘要: A system and method for tufting sculptured and multiple pile height patterned articles, including controlling placement of yarns fed to the needles of the tufting machine by a yarn feed mechanism to form varying patterns includes a backing support over which the backing is fed, and which lifts/and biases the backing to a raised position. As the backing material is fed through the tufting machine, a series of loopers or hooks engage and pick loops of yarns from the needles. The yarn feed mechanism will be controlled to create a tension in selected loops of yarns, to cause the backing material to be pulled against the bias or spring force applied by the backing support toward the needle plate of the tufting machine to create tufts of different pile heights.

Such arrangements can prevent deviation in driving timing of the rotary hook and simplify the construction of the rotary hook drive device.

The thread take-up levers of all embroidery heads are secured on a common thread take-up shaft, the latter extending over the entire length of the machine. The thread take-up shaft is driven by a crankdrive mechanism from the main shaft of the machine.

    摘要: Embroidering machine with a needle drive mechanism for color changeover, where each of a number of embroidering stations has a number of needles, one needle rod being working, i.e., engageable by a drive bar, all others being non-working and retained by a retaining bar, which also deflects the latch levers of these needle rods and which has a gap in the working plane for the working needle rod. In that gap is also arranged a solenoid controlled pivotable control pawl which, in its normal position, does not touch the working needle rod, and which, in its actuated position, bridges the gap of the retaining bar, thereby retaining the working needle and disengaging its latch lever from the drive bar. The needle bar, which carries all the needle rods, can then shift the needle rods into and out of the retaining bar gap.

    摘要: The invention concerns a method and an apparatus for threading of yarn ends into the working needles of embroidery, stitching and sewing machines. This is achieved by clamping the end of the yarn which is to be inserted, to the open end of a compressed air channel; the end of this channel is connected to a hollow needle bar, and, after its release, the yarn is guided by compressed air through the hollow needle bar to a threading loop which can move through the eye of the needle.
