摘要: Described herein is a magnetic dendrometer having a frame, a spring-tension mechanism, and a magnet for moving together with the spring-tension mechanism. A magnetic sensor is attached to the frame. The magnetic sensor senses the linear motion of the magnet. This linear motion translates to trackable fluctuations in magnetic field. The magnetic fluctuations are converted to electrical signals by the magnetic sensor. A spring is attached to a free-floating wishbone-style component. The free-floating wishbone-style component is couped to a slider which has an adjustable, single-contact point with a target (e.g., a vine, a branch, etc.). The frame is a stationary frame that carries the magnetic sensor. The frame connected via the spring to the wishbone/slider combination cooperates with each other for providing linear motion to extend or contract the spring in length directions. The length variations of the dendrometer spring are converted to linear motion of the magnet and then into electronic signals.

The harvester includes a second measuring device for measuring a feature of the first measuring device, whereby the feature is an attribute reflecting the capability of the first measuring device to measure the dimension correctly, and a control unit configured to make a comparison between an actual value of the measured feature and a target value of the feature, whereby the target value is indicative of a state of the first measuring device, where its measurement of the dimension is considered to be correct.

摘要: A method for rapidly measuring roller pass major semi-axis of three-roller reducing mill, the method comprising the following steps: selecting a corresponding value of the average diameter of an elliptical pass, a value of a first major semi-axis and a value of a minor semi-axis from a three-roller pass data table according to a rack station number of a special numerical control lathe; calculating a value of a first line segment according to an elliptic equation, the obtained value of the first major semi-axis, and the obtained value of the minor semi-axis; calculating a value of a second major semi-axis according to the right-angle triangle theorem and the value of the first line segment; measuring a first size value by attaching three claws of a three-claw internal micrometer to three roller gaps; or attaching one end of inner calipers to any roller gap, and attaching the other end to the bottom of a roller arc opposite the roller gap to obtain a second size value. The roller pass major semi-axis of the three-roller is reducing mill is measured, and the outer diameter precision and the surface quality of a steel pipe are improved.
