摘要: An imaging apparatus includes a communication unit, a movement unit, an imaging unit, and a control unit. The communication unit receives first information including information on a shooting position of an external apparatus. The movement unit moves the imaging apparatus to a position at which a bird's eye view of subjects is made possible. The imaging unit performs shooting at the position at which the bird's eye view of the subject is made possible. The control unit acquires second information on the subjects from an image that is shot at the position at which the bird's eye view of the subject is made possible, determines priority for shooting each of the subjects based on the first information and the second information, and controls the movement unit and the imaging unit based on the determined priority.

摘要: An image processing apparatus capable of properly editing a moving image file including imaging information items recorded at different recording periods. The image processing apparatus executes an editing process on a moving image file in which a moving image including frames arranged in time-series and imaging information associated with the moving image have been recorded. The imaging information has a data structure in which long period imaging information recorded at a first period in the time series and short period imaging information recorded at a second period shorter than the first period in the time series are arranged. A system controller executes the editing process such that a frame having the long period imaging information becomes a first frame in the moving image file having been edited.

摘要: An image capture apparatus that detects a position of a gazed point in an image based on a line of sight of a user is disclosed. The image capture apparatus also detects at least one characteristic area from the image and sets a determination area to each characteristic area having a size that is greater than or equal to a predetermined lower limit value. Then the image capture apparatus selects the characteristic area corresponding to a determination area including the position of the gazed point.

摘要: An image pickup element has a configuration in which a pixel region substrate and a readout circuit substrate are stacked. On a pixel region substrate, a plurality of unit pixels configured by a micro lens and a plurality of photoelectric converters are arranged in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction. 摘要: An image stabilization apparatus comprises a setting unit that sets a correction axis to be used in image stabilization among correction axes of a first image stabilization unit based on a shooting state of an image capturing apparatus; and a calculation unit that obtains a driving amount of the first image stabilization unit for correcting a shake with respect to the set correction axis based on an amount of shake of the image capturing apparatus. The setting unit sets the correction axis so that a different correction axis is set in a case where the image capturing apparatus is in a moving image shooting state and in a case where the image capturing apparatus is in a still image shooting state.

摘要: An image processing apparatus that corrects image blurring with respect to image data that has been captured using a lens that forms a subject image which has been compressed in at least one of first and second directions that are orthogonal to an optical axis is disclosed. The apparatus applies geometric transformation processing to the image data based on first information related to a compression ratio of a subject image applied by the lens and on second information related to a rotation angle of the device motion. The geometric transformation processing includes correction processing for rotation transformation of the subject image attributed to the device motion around the optical axis, and shearing processing.
