Abstract: A facility for generating analytical information based on individual reports of multiple scheduled presentations of interstitial media assets is provided. Abstract: Systems and methods for notification forwarding may include forwarding all or selected notifications generated by one or more applications running on a wireless mobile device to a television receiving device that is connected to the television. Abstract: Embodiments are related to faster provisioning of targeted advertisements at a set-top box (STB) via an Internet Protocol (IP) connection between the STB and a remote server. The disclosed IP-based advertisement distribution system enables targeted advertisements to be pulled from the remote server efficiently, causing the advertisements to be made available within a short time frame (e.g., less than one day from the time when the advertisements are available). The disclosed methods enables a STB to determine whether to retain existing targeted advertisements, discard them, or provision newly-available advertisements. The targeted advertisements can depend on various factors such as demographic information of an owner of the STB, lifestyle information of the owner of the STB, etc.

Abstract: Novel techniques are described for generation, distribution, and management of route connectivity optimization (RCO) mapping. For example, as mobile devices traverse travel routes serviced by one or more mobile networks, they can experience periods of different levels of connectivity with the mobile network(s). Embodiments can collect route segment connectivity data as experienced by consumer devices during traversal through mobile networks (e.g., indicating, for each route segment, which carriers are providing service to a mobile device, the level of service being provided, etc.). A RCO can be computed and stored for the set of route segments as a function of the route segment connectivity data. The RCO can be requested by consumers, and a corresponding link can be generated. Selecting the link can provide the consumers with remote access to the RCO, with which the consumers can generate connectivity-optimized route guidance maps.
